Kevin Dunn has been tapped for a recurring role on HBO’s comedy Veep starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. He will play Ben, the President’s Chief of Staff. Pragmatic and no-nonsense, Ben finds himself unable to navigate the all-spin-all-the-time world of Washington politics. The casting brings Dunn back to HBO, where he co-starred on drama Luck. Dunn, repped by Gersh and Lighthouse Entertainment, will next be seen in Lionsgate’s The Frozen Ground, in the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs and Diego Luna’s Chavez.

Cierra Ramirez, Hayden Byerly and Danny Nucci have been added to the cast of ABC Family’s drama pilot The Fosters, executive produced by Jennifer Lopez. The project tells the story of Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) Foster, a mixed-race couple who are raising Stef’s biological son Brandon (David Lambert), along with several adopted children. When Lena decides to take in Callie (Maia Mitchell), a troubled teen with an abusive past, Callie’s disruptive ways threaten to turn the Fosters’ lives upside down. Nucci will play Mike, Stef’s handsome ex-husband and Brandon’s biological father, a cop who requests to partner up with Stef after her regular partner leaves the department. The Secret Life Of The American Teenager‘s Ramirez, repped by The Corsa Agency and MPE, will play Marianna Foster, a smart-as-a-whip straight-A student who was adopted out of foster care by Stef and Lena, along with her fraternal twin, Jesus. Byerly will play Callie’s 13-year-old brother, whom she is determined to rescue fr0m his abusive foster home.

Graham Patrick Martin (Two And A Half Men, Major Crimes) has landed the role of Anna Nicole Smith’s son Danny in Lifetime’s original movie The Anna Nicole Story, which is based on the true life story of Vickie Lynn Hogan (Agnes Bruckner), a pretty but plain girl growing up in a small Texas town who transforms herself into Anna Nicole Smith — a voluptuous, Marilyn Monroe-esque Playboy pin-up and model. Determined to be noticed for good or ill, Vickie gets her wish, but it comes at a steep price, both for her and her beloved son. Also co-starring in the movie are Virginia Madsen and Martin Landau. Graham is with  Untitled and TalentWorks.
