Grey’s Anatomy alumna Kim Raver is set to star in Lifetime’s hourlong pilot The Secret Lives Of Wives. Inspired by the book by Iris Krasnow, The Secret Lives of Wives explores the unvarnished truth behind the marriages of four different women – Michelle (Raver), Reed (Salli Richardson), Keaton (Amber Clayton) and Jessie (Lauren Bittner). Michelle is described as a naturally elegant, generous and grounded woman who is the rock of her small circle of best friends. The pilot is produced by Lin Pictures in association with Warner Horizon Television.
Raver, repped by WME and Mosaic, has a long history with Warner Bros. TV, which cast her in her first pilot, Trinity, followed by starring roles on series Third Watch and The Nine. Following her stints on 24 and Grey’s Anatomy, Raver returned to WBTV this fall with a recurring role on the studio’s new NBC drama Revolution.

Ok, so let me see if I get this: Lifetime is developing a show called The Secret Lives of Wives while NBC is developing something called The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives? So much for creativity. Let’s see who gets a name change first.
I didn’t know she was going to be on Revolution. I hope people don’t confuse her with Elizabeth Mitchell.
Kim is awesome and I hope she gets a chance to spread her wings. Good for her!
Look, she is great, but this project sounds like a shameless Desperate Housewives-ripoff and apparently she will play the ‘Bree’ in it. Hopefully this will either surprise and turn out to be decent OR she will get better material than this in the future.
Great cast
Love her
