• I will be watching, along with the ghost of Lester Persky, who did a FABULOUS Liz mini-series some years back with Sherilyn Fenn. He would want Larry’s show to do well because Larry Thompson is one of those guys who goes good things no one knows about because he is a real southern gentleman and one of the last “real” producers.

• From the clips I’ve seen, I simply cannot understand the casting of Lindsay Lohan. She brings nothing to the role that says “Elizabeth Taylor” to me. And it seems that the whole affair (pun intended) hits or misses on our believing that the then 29-year-old Elizabeth Taylor is once again with us.

• This will be the worst made for TV movie of all time, but will get huge ratings because everyone will want to see just how bad LiLo is.
