Rebecca Romijn has been tapped as the co-lead opposite Jon Tenney in the TNT pilot King And Maxwell. The project, from CBS TV Studios and NCIS honcho Shane Brennan, is adapted from characters created by bestselling author David Baldacci. In the vein of Moonlighting, it follows Sean King (Tenney) and Michelle Maxwell (Romijn), who aren’t the typical pair of private investigators. Both are former Secret Service agents, and their unique skill sets (not to mention their razor-sharp chemistry) often gives them a leg up on suspects and conventional law enforcement. With her striking beauty, athletic prowess and Beltway connections, Maxwell is a formidable investigator, determined to prove herself after being forced to resign from the Secret Service. Brennan wrote the script and executive produces, with Karen Spiegel and Grant Anderson producing and Baldacci serving as a consultant. Romijn, repped by UTA and 3 Arts, currently co-stars on Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV::

I second that. Nice to see her back on small screen. Shame it’s gonna be another procedural but what can you do about that? That’s how TNT works (except for “Dallas”).
She’s really too old , ten years ago it could have been interesting to look at her, now it’s just not believable that an old woman would want to be wasting her life in some meaningless activities like caring about criminals. Make her a fashion maven/ charity manager. Yech.
Having read everything that david has written, excluding personal mail. I could not have envisioned a better pair to play King and Maxwell. Romijn fits the image of the character in the series of novels, as does Jon. I think that their chemistry will be perfect for the series. I hope that david has a hand in the storylines for the episodes that are not drawn from published novels. I look forward to the previews and the shows.
TNT: When is monkey and Gorilla coming out? It’s a cop show about a monkey and Gorilla. why not? They cant seem to get tired of procedurals. How Southland made it onto TNT is a complete mystery
I just hope TNT will pick up Last Resort of ABC cancels it…

So glad to see Jon Tenney in a lead role. I wish he had been given a larger role in Major Crimes. This should be a treat! I cannot seem to find when the show will begin. I see it will be on TNT. Does anyone know the start date?
