Adult Swim said today it has ordered another season of Robot Chicken, with Season 7 set to air on Cartoon Network next year. Season 6 of the Emmy-winning stop-motion series — which included its 100th episode — currently airs Sunday nights and is the programming block’s top-rated original series. Stoopid Monkey Productions’ Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are the creators and executive producers along with their Stoopid Buddy Stoodios partners, Buddy Systems’ John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner, who also executive produce. Janet Dimon is supervising producer. Green is making the renewal official as we speak at New York Comic-Con.

I hope they’re still at least having fun making these, because I’m not watching them.
Damn you Seth Green. Where does he get those wonderful toys?!
Now when the heck will they renew BLACK DYNAMITE!
Robot Chicken has some of the worst writing i’ve ever seen on television. Not clever. Not narrative-driven. Not entertaining. At all.
Of course it’s not narrative driven. It’s a sketch comedy show.
If Adult Swim had a relatively competent competitor, their entire programming block would crumble. Their original programming (Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen, Squidbillies, etc) is total unwatchable garbage and everyone knows it. The only shows worth a damn are the ones they syndicate (Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, etc).
The guys over at AS better hope FX or Comedy Central doesn’t create a late night animated programming block. AS wouldn’t survive.
Except that “Children’s Hospital” just won the Emmy, and that’s AS original programming…
Funny how that unwatchable garbage has gotten so many seasons. Aqua Teens just wrapped up their 9th, Squidbillies their 6th, and Robot Chicken is airing its 6th. And Childrens Hospital is in its 4th season and just won an Emmy. Just because you don’t like absurd humor doesn’t mean everybody dislikes it.
Robot Chicken: twists your brain into a pretzel and then fries it to a crackly crunch. No finer television has ever been created.
Congrats to the Robot Chicken crew!
Love it! Keep em coming!
Congrats on the upcoming 7th season! I adore this show and I don’t collect toys at all – I’m strictly in it for the brain damage.
