EXCLUSIVE: The current fifth season of ABC Family‘s The Secret Life Of The American Teenager will be the series’ last. The drama from 7th Heaven creator Brenda Hampton was the breakout hit that put ABC Family on the scripted map when it premiered in June 2008. It also helped launch several of the next generation of successful ABC Family series. Additionally, it made a star out of lead Shailene Woodley, who went on to land the co-lead opposite George Clooney in The Descendants, a role that earned her much acclaim. I hear the feeling was that, after five seasons, Secret Life has run its course, leading to the cancellation. Season five of the show premiered in June when 11 episode ran. The final 12-episodes of Secret Life will begin airing in March.

I watched all 5 seasons within 2 weeks and got VERY addicted to this show! I was VERY disappointed when I found out that there was no more episodes! The very last episode just left me hanging and wanting to know what happens.what happens with katherine and george, or if amy & ricky end up getting married for real. so on and so on! I guess I will never know this now! way to go ABC! morons~ why start something if your not gonna finish it.
I am one of them people who find I hard time finding a great show and I know sometimes they can go over board with different subjects but I got really addicted to this show and it really hurts me to see it go I wonder who bright idea it was to end just a great show with I huge fan-base and this is the best show that has very bin of abc and now they want to end it just like that I cannot wait into their ratings go down and the whole channel is shut down because there is nothing else to watch on their Channel

I’m a true fan of this show it was a reason for me to hog the tv on Monday’s..I am with the other people who say abc is cancelling a lot of my favorite shows ..I will not be watching it anymore ..pretty little liars should have been taken off tv..b I hope all my actors and actresses go on to do bigger and better things..

I really enjoyed watching this show. I work at a camp with teenagers in the summer, and i know many of them had struggles similar to those they went through in the show. It was nice to have something to discuss with them. I hope to see Amy and Ricky get married.

What ever the secret life was the best show ever
I really liked the show but to me it seems like it has been getting kind of sloppy. I’m sad to see people now soon to be out of work but I really hope that they make the series go out with a bang to make people remember it. But we will see.
Well i have to say at first this show was good but you could tell they started running out of ideas the last to seasons werent so great but what pisses me off is that abc family never finishes what they started like with kyle xy they just cancelled it in a cliffhanger and abc has a bad habit of doing that if they dont want to continue thats fine but atleast air a finale episode to end it instead of leaving fans frustrated and with alot of questions

I know how you feel. I started watching this show when i saw the preview of the show on ABC. I watched it, when it came on. I feel in love with it. I watched every season of it. It made my life so much better. I lived my life through this show, if it make sense. How can someone take this show off. It has way more values and morals then any other show I watch. When they took off make it or break it, I was pissed off, but I knew I had secret life, and pretty little liars. So yea all I do is watch these show. I learned so much now I well only have pretty little liars to look forward too. But not Monday I’m never watching that stupid show you are replacing this amazing show with. Ps. If ABC take off pretty little liars too. I well never watch ABC family again. I’m dead serious.
i love this show.. follows how most teen-agers live and the struggles they go thru. im sad to see it end. not many shows felt as real as this one.
It”s bull shit why end the series this way this was a good shows sure sometimes it was a bit annoying and the storyline was a bit over reaching but it should not end this way at least they should have another season plus there letting that bull crap show pretty little liars stay on air that crap is stupid
Why not fire some directors from pretty little liars and the lying game those show really need to be off television and then that way they can keep this show on Air it’s way better its not like ABC really has any other good shows
