Real debate was funnier, Biden may win an “EMMY” for best guest star in a comedy.
Man, Ryan took a beating in this, which is fine. But I think they could have parodied Biden a little more.
Also, when it comes to jobs in Scranton, I’m surprised they didn’t reference The Office.
Hmmm this made Biden look less like a Buffoon, nice spin SNL
For the record Ryan did not ,”get a beating,” at the VP debate. However Joe Biden won the title for most grimmacing and interruptions during a national debate. That’s quite an achievement.Ryan was cool and calm, qualities you need ina national leader, and he was not bombastic and pompous.
The difference between the two was Ryan couldn’t back up his claims/statements whereby Biden, although animated, ran circles around someone (let’s discount the ages) who blows smoke. Ask me, SNL nailed it! As I remember years back, Wendy’s ad highlighted “where’s the beef” and now here come Romney and Ryan who say what they will do, promise to do and can NOT tel America… HOW? Where’s the beef? SNL… ON TARGET. Kudos to SNL.
This wasn’t funny at all, which is surprising since there was so much to work with. They could have done more with Ryan’s perpetually surprised expression and drinking water the whole time.
They had Ryan drinking from a gallon jug! How much water do you need them to show him drinking to get the joke?
SNL has become the DNC Comedy Show. Michaels & Company are just shills for Obama. I quit watching it a very long time ago. Not funny unless you’re Bill Maher.
Could SNL have any more of an obvious liberal agenda? I’ve never seen more of a bone thrown to them with Biden’s Joker performance and they did nothing with it but try to make fun of Ryan. Amazing.
this was a hysterical bit! poked fun at both men’s behavior and humorously derided both. The only sore losers are people who can’t take it when their political player is attacked. One of the best bits in a long time… the new girl is really pulling her weight in all the scenes she’s been in so far. Pretty good for a brand new cast member.
