With the CW‘s breakout drama Arrow receiving a full-season order today, there was also something for the network’s other freshman series, Beauty And The Beast and Emily Owens, MD. I’ve learned that each has received an order for three additional scripts. Beauty And The Beast has been the stronger of the two out of the gate as it has a 
big lead-in from The Vampire Diaries. After a solid premiere, it dropped in Week 2. Meanwhile, Emily Owens, MD got off to a slow start in its debut last week.

They’re trying to pass these shows off as being written? Not buying it.
Beauty and the Beast is absolutely dreadful. Emily Owens is not good either, but it’s the more watchable of the two. Luckily, BatB plummeted in the ratings in its second week. Emily Owens will get its own chance to drop tomorrow night when it airs its second episode. Who knows, it might end up being the stronger of the two in the long run, though I seriously doubt either one will be a star.
At least the CW has Arrow.
CW needs to cancel Beauty and the Beast and beg The Secret Circle back for a second season as a midseason replacement to bring back viewers. The fact BB even made it to air when the pilot was disasterous is an insult to Vampire Diaries for teaming it with such a throwaway show and indicates someone at CW is sleeping.
Disagree.. Beauty and the beast is great. but you like vamipire diaries with all the blood dripping from there mouths. i like it too but i don’t limit my self to less shows. maybe love is not your thing.

Not a frustrated writer here. The pilot was one of the worst I’ve seen in years, ridiculous writing, bad casting, Kreuk cannot play a cop. Just awful.

I enjoyed Beauty and the Beast more than i`ve ever enjoyed any CW shows.

WHY? Because its an anazing show as long as you can see outside the box! Katie Cassidy is an anazing actress along with several other actors here. This show is one of the best series out there if you have any imagination atall!
I actually like BB and Emily Owens! I do watch Hart of Dixie but do not understand why they kept it? Hart of Dixie had less viewers than SC. I loved SC!! They need to bring that back!!

Il love the CW beauty and the beast. I love tormented love stories i guess. Once upon a time is great too but this one is just Beauty and the beast. I am just staring to watch Vampire Diaries. so far so good with first season. If hat show can be 4 or more seasons than BandB should too. CW KEEP Beauty and the Beast coming!!! Emily Owens was good too. Arrow is GREAT. emily has a lightness and less derpressing compared to greys anatomy.B and B is the best one. i am new to CW so keep them all on for me. I am crossing my fingers.
Beauty and the beast is so good i love Vincent and Katherine I hope they get together soon and we know they will end up together and if they don’t I will and everyone else will be mad….

These shows don’t deserve for more seasons.
BATB is even worse than TSC (watched about 14 episodes, it is much – it was hard for me to watch because of boring, not well written plot * no offense to TSC fans *).
CW needs to have new shows, maybe ratings will go up, will be more viewers and… so, it’s gonna be great
I heard for example about “Electropolis” and “The Hundred” and some new shows, which I can’t remember for a moment…

I was skeptical about B&B when I first heard about it, but have liked the twist they put on the old series. Like the chemistry between them, can’t help rooting for star-crossed lovers. It’s a weakness of mine I guess, lol. So… is this officially cancelled? I’m assuming that’s what “Mid-season finale” means… =/
Francie, well… no, mid – season finale doesn’t mean the show is already cancelled.
Every series has its mid – season finale, you can check it on your own if you don’t believe me.

Beauty And The Beast.. what a flop!!
I just watched all nine episodes in less than a day and it may have a slow start and the intro isn’t the best… but it is now my favorite show!!!! and I’m in my mid twenties so it can’t be that bad. My fiancee actually got into it too and he hates VD (which is crazy enough on it’s own) lol
I personally LOVE B&B! The last 5 mins of the last episode I was literally on my feet crying & yelling at the TV! It was that good! Arrow! REALLY! This show blows!! Almost as bad as GG! I MISS THE SECRET CIRCLE! It was one of the best shows Ive ever watched! Its sad that they choose a small group of people to get feedback from on these shows! 5,000 people is cetainly NOT a big enough # to get an accurate account of what the entire US wants to watch!!
