A no-brainer renewal from USA Network: The cable network has picked up drama Suits for a third season with a 16-episode order. The series, starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams, is coming off a strong summer portion of its second season as the Universal Cable Prods.-produced legal series seems to be hitting its stride. “Quite simply, Suits is as good as it gets,” USA Network co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel said. “Sophisticated storytelling, sharp dialogue, and award-worthy performances make this show a cornerstone of our original programming lineup.” The summer finale of Suits drew 6.5 million viewers and posted series highs across all demos. Suits returns in January with six new episodes to wrap up Season 2.
The series is executive produced by Aaron Korsh. Doug Liman and David Bartis of Hypnotic also serve as executive producers. Suits joins Royal Pains, White Collar and Covert Affairs, which also were recently renewed.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for SUITS, hurry January!
I never miss Suits… it’s smart, grownup entertainment with good writing, engaging characters. I couldn’t imagine it not being renewed.
If this is “as good as it gets”, then we’re all doomed. USA’s shows are a celebration of bland mediocrity. Suits is merely slightly less bland.
No.
At least have the guts to put joke name at the very least.
Dead wrong buddy. Great show!
U R SO WRONG
Suits joins a great lineup from the USA network. The cast is superb and the writing is getting better with each episode. The two main characters compliment themselves so well. It’s also nice to see Gabriel Macht in a suite, as I have read that he is not the dress me up sort of person. Hopefully the series will be around for a long time.
I cant wait anymore!I cant patient for waiting…Getting fast for Suits cast =)
Yes! I absolutely love this freaking show!!!
Suits is the only show on TV that all four members of our family watch and adore. Bring on the January winter weather and six more episodes of this quality show.
I am having a hard time waiting for my favorite show to come back on!
Must we wait until Jan? Then only 6 shows?
So happy. I found Suits randomly and I couldn’t stop watching. I’m so addicted right now, mostly because men in suits are always hot, no matter what they do, and the topics on that show, it’s all so balanced. The writing is flawless, and I don’t think they’ll suck at all in 3rd season, because it just keep getting better and better. SUIT UP!
In the midst of the TV series cesspool, Suits renews my faith that excellence is still alive and well. I’m ridiculously happy about the 3rd season renewal and I’m awaiting January like a kid for Santa. Now if the ‘suits’ who dream up Emmy nominations would just wake the hell up…*COUGH*GABRIEL!PATRICK!COUGH*…Seriously.
I am so glad that Suits is coming back,
Really like this show..
Thank you…
I love this show so much. It should be on all year round. lol!
Amen to that Lola!!!!!!!
This show is amazing. I’ve never been so into a show before!
This is my favorite show
So glad they will be back. Never miss. Hope I don’t bore you, but love the show !!!!
Great show. Very happy it got renewed for a well deserved third season
I still hate Louis.
How can you hate this insecure puppy? He can be so sweet. Just wait until that smart woman comes along who really “sees” him. It will be one epic rollercoaster for the poor guy, given his insecurities. Louis is great fun!
Can’t wait for the show to return! Love ALL the characters and that sweet theme song! They know how to cast and how to make their attractive actors look delish. Something that nowadays unfortunately feels like an exception. So happy about the renewal!
Man Great News, Thank you USA for not keeping me waiting until the summer to see some of my favorite characters on TV. Gabriel and Patrick are studs but my favs are Meghan Markle and Rick Hoffman.
Minus the jerky anonymous comment from the person who wasted his time commenting on a show he apparently hates does not make sense. Either way he has no appreciation for an Excellent show!!! Well thought out, produced and the acting is superb! Stick to reality tv since that may be easier for you to understand!
I LOVE THIS SHOW, ARROGANCE, SMUGNESS, CROOKS AND TURNS, NOTHING BETTER, I ADORE THE CASTING, COULDN’T BE BETTER WRITING. CAN’T WAIT, BRING IT ON GUYS!!!!!!!
Don’t be a hater
You obviously don’t know good tv then.
THIS SHOW IS AWESOME.. I’m very picky with shows but I’m living with this tv show. Suits should be around for a very long time. Flawless acting and writing.. High quality tv show!!!!
I adore this show so much it has become my guilty pleasure, better than dessert after dinner. I never miss an episode, I record Suits on DVR and watch them repeatedly. I have never been one to watch any show more than twice however, when I just want to be taken away, I tune in to my saved episodes of Suits. Gabriel is so SUPER HOT that I can never stop watching and waiting for Harvey’s next amazing strategy or Mikes ah ha moment. Keep us hungry for each episode your writers are geniuses!
I never miss SUITS. It represents business that I was personally involved in for 40 years. I love the storyline. Mike(Pat) represents the best of society who, for whatever reason does not have a degree, but who out performs many in the industry with a degree. As much as I love SUITS, I am bored watching re-runs until January. It seems we had three new episodes in season 2, now we are held hostage and must wait until January in order to get 6 more? What kind of a season is that? As a loyal SUITS viewer, we want new episodes each week! Re-runs can be watched if we must, on another network after the normal season. The writers are boring us with the re-runs and some of your loyal base are moving on rather than wait until January for the next show.
I’m a writer on a dark drama series and SUITS is the best writing, snappiest repartee, and most fun–(POSITIVE TONE AND WORLD VIEW)on television. The dark, world view of almost all dramatic TV is heavy to participate in at times–but SUITS is my guilty pleasure. Smart, fun, entertaining, and surprising twists and turns.
