• Oh dear. WB really has no idea what they’re doing in the family films/animation space. The first Yogi Bear was awful. Hopefully, they will find some help. This project does not look like they’ve found it.

• Feels like the kind of story where you can’t help but feel a bit, “Oh, sad how the mighty have fallen” or “THIS is how they spend their talent?” but I’ll bet everyone’s getting paid full freight, health insurance rolls on for a lot of people, a team of animators gets a solid chunk of work, etc., so hey, YAY!

  Here’s hoping Jay figures out how to one-up the last one’s viral marketing bit with Yogi getting the “Assassination of Jesse James” treatment from Boo-Bo.

• Why is this even being considered let alone brought back for a sequel? The first one sucked balls and this new one won’t do any better and YET, another example of Hollywood recycling ideas and not coming up with something new and original.
