This is too long and way lame. Next time, WME, you’ll need to pay for an ad…
Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke - tip her here.

I could have sworn they canceled Entourage
The others were somewhat cute….this one…cringe worthy ….Lew Wasserman must be spinning in his grave….:)
This is wildly embarrassing…
Lighten up. This is a tongue in cheek plot. Well done, well directed, well written, acting so-so but kudos to behind the scenes. Hilarious at times. Watch it again with a different perspective.
I’m sure below the line folks like being less than vagrants and “who gives a f*ck what their names are” in WME’s eyes, but at least they got paid to make the video… hopefully.
Wow is that bad. No wonder we all think we have talent. And this from one of the top 3 agencies. Nightmare! Is it just me or can’t anyone write something decent without using the “F” word while holding a child in your arms?
Please, please, please…do not run these anymore (even if WME pays for it) especially if every department at WME does one…what a waste of time and money…and, frankly…embarrassing.
Do agents/assistants really believe they possess even an ounce of creativity, or acting ability, for that matter?
Don’t they have anything to do at WME, besides make these asinine videos? Like, how about getting their clients jobs?
I think it’s fair to say they’ve done a pretty decent job getting their clients jobs.
These are the guys who give me notes on my projects?
Basically we get to see idiots cussing for 7 minutes and acting like moronic children. Now we know how you treat each other at your company which is exactly what people should expect from you. Cliche and very real, unfortunately. There is no class here as they have gone down the drain on this one.
It is too long, but it’s funny and cute.
For a video touting their below-the-line department, you’d think it would have better quality…
Turn on the HD tab genius
If i was BTL at WME I would be Audi 5000
It’s so precious WME thought this was a good idea to make…
Too bad for WME that once something hits Deadline…
I will never be able to ‘un-see’ that video, nor will I get those minutes of my life back. Making a mockery of your clients is not the way to promote a department.
Also, maybe they should have paid a client to edit this video – I made better shorts while in middle school at Summer camp…
Wow. That is a complete embarrassment to everyone involved and mentioned. Horrid and offensive. Much like most talent agents.
Their clients should be embarrassed. No class, offensive, and a great reason to depart that department.
I agree with exbtlagent’s comment -”Their clients should be embarrassed. No class, offensive, and a great reason to depart that department.
These videos are always beyond obnoxious and this one is clearly the worst. Cringeworthy indeed…not funny for a second.
Somewhere, someone said, “This is a good idea. Let’s go forward with it.”
I think this is really clever. Its about time credence was given to the hard working people who really make movies great. This is a fun look at a department that is too often forgotten. You guys from CAA who are bad mouthing it need to relax. At least their agents are better looking than yours too.
and Nikki – your headline is too lame.
personally, i thought it was hilarious
WME-btl belongs in a binder
Devin Mann is god.
Just remember, they’re like parakeets in front of a mirror. Of course it’s brilliant, it’s theirs!
Geez, you guys are cranky. It’s kinda cute.
