It’s not surprising when a video goes viral for parodies to start cropping up. That is the case with Two And A Half Men co-star Angus T. Jones, whose “‘stop watching’ Men because it’s ‘filth’” testimonial spurred a string of video skits. But entrepreneurial actors who have comedy series on the air are using Jones parodies to plug their shows, as is the case with these mildly amusing videos of Matthew Perry of Go On and Rainn Wilson of The Office. Of course, neither of the shows hail from CBS or Warner Bros. TV, the network and studio behind Men.

If only Go On was as amusing as this parody. Oh well….
OMG! I loved the Matthew Perry one!
It’s pathetic how these performers/shows have so little to say or to originate other than vulturine parodies of others with something to say. Figures both are from NBC.
Not to worry Matthew.. I haven’t watched Go On since the pilot. Not because it was filth, but because it was horribly written, directed, and acted.
This is outrageous!, he should totally give the Friends money, or at least some of it. If he truly beleves what he’s saying he would….
that should have been
Most of these Funny Or Die videos have the same problem: they are two or three times longer than they ought to be. In comedy (with a few exceptions, for sure), tighter is better. Otherwise a gag wears out its welcome and you are left with dead air. This video, for example, is overlong and unfunny at 3:47, but would have been great at 1:30 or so, with more quick cuts and the best jokes left in. We’ve had over a decade of web comedy, and years of Youtube, it’s amazing how amateurish a lot of this stuff still is. (It doesn’t help that Perry’s delivery is totally off – ‘Friends’ does seem a long time ago, doesn’t it?)
This is not funny. As a matter of fact it’s awful. Thank you for wasting my time.
Charlie Sheen has to do a video come on Charlie the world is waiting. Yours would be the best if you go the full Rock Star from Mars route.
Mathew Parry video was not funny. I wanted it to be funny. But it wasn’t. And was way too long. But brilliantly he called out Angus to give back his money. Or was everyone in the comments were saying all along – if you hate them and show that gives them to you – go and give all to charity or poor.
Don’t be that hypocrite that makes himself saint while using the money “from devil”.
so, yeah… the matthew perry parody was just as unfunny as his show. which is kinda funny. but sadly consistent. unfunny is as unfunny does.
This once again proves that writers should write and actors should act.
So so so so bad x 2
Loved both! Thanks for posting..
Oh wow. How creative. This is like a high school skit.
