Tina Fey stars as a Princeton University admissions officer who runs into her former college friend, played by Paul Rudd, during a recruiting visit to an alternative high school which is attended by a boy who might be the son she secretly gave up for adoption years before. This does not look good.
This looks like a fun movie. I’m in
Paul and Tina, I’m there!
And the screenplay by Karen Croner was really funny.
Should be good.
It looks just okay
That trailer was so bad it gave me cancer.
Comedy fail. Please identify the memorable joke?
Melodrama fail. That’s her son she gave up for adoption? Don’t care.
Mass audience caring about kids getting into the Ivys fail.
F
I didn’t like it either, but, please, you come off like an Internet cliche, where everything is “epic” or “fail” in your world. Read a book.
+1
This looks really good.
Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, charm personified. In romantic comedies personalities is what it’s all about and this trailer does everything right and it has it in spades. Timely subject too as more and more colleges and universities are expanding their definition of what should be deemed acceptable. Harvards and Yales themselves will tell you, Stanley Kaplan hard to get into, easy to coast, the sexy expensive faculty members insured by huge endowments sometimes not even college graduates. Love the Weitzes – always interested in what they’re up to.
Looks like this was filmed on Princeton’s campus
They filmed a couple days of exteriors at Princeton but most of it is other New York-area colleges doubling for the interiors.
Alternative title: “Liz Lemon Gets a New Job”
Why is gloria reuben not listed as a supporting? She has one of the more featured roles. Specifically in the trailer as well.
love Tina and Paul. Weitz has a nice touch with these kind of films… looks good to me.
this looks horrible
Tina’s impersonations and ridicule of Sarah Palin is getting tedious and worn out.
