I hope he’s playing her dad because, gross.
First thing I thought too! There’s only one type of executive that makes these ridiculous casting decisions – a male in a suit that probably told the screenwriter and casting director that the 30 or 40-something in the script had to be cast as the hot 20-something to sell tickets to the 15-25 age range demographic in order to make money on the movie. Sick. Twisted. Only a corporate suit would create a movie like this.
Well of course there will be conflict between the mother and father. She is 26 !! He is a cool twenty years older at 46 !!
She wants to PAR-TAY. He wants to take a nap.
Sooooo, the lame version of KNOCKED UP.
Were Harrison Ford or Sean Connery not available for the male lead?
Isn’t it a little soon for a “Knocked Up” reboot?
isn’t this the exact same plot as “Knocked Up” from about five years ago?
Oh, and the age difference is really weird with this one.
Are all the actors between 24-30 not available?
Patrick Dempsey would be better suited to play Amanda Seyfried’s father in a movie, not her love interest especially since Amanda looks younger than she is and Dempsey looks to be about 50 years old. The plot of the movie also seems to not offer anything fresh when it comes to romantic comedies. Bad casting + overdone plot = box office failure.
Wow… How about we let the birth happen before we pull the cord on the conception. It’s Hollywood folks, age differences aside and these two could be made a legit couple… And Amanda is silly hot -IMHO
Another couple having unsafe sex. And the chick has never heard of the morning after pill. And there might be a puking, crying, farting baby to boot.
Worst of all – Patrick Dempsey. Sigh. The guy was hot some years back, but that’s pretty much over.
Now if it was Eric Dane with his natural grey hair, I could totally forget any age difference…. That guy’s got it.
I LOVE Patrick Dempsey. I’ve read Wonderful Tonight & it could be an interesting project.
