Stellan Skarsgard has been added to the cast of Hector And The Search For Happiness. The Avengers and Girl With The Dragon Tattoo actor will play a rich jaded banker named Edward in the film about an eccentric psychiatrist who sets out on a global quest when his patients stop getting happier. Simon Pegg and Christopher Plummer have already joined the film. Peter Chelsom is directing Hector And The Search For Happiness. Chelsom and Tinker Lindsay wrote the screenplay from the novel of the same name by Francis Lelord. Filming is set to start in January 2013. Judy Tossell for Egoli Tossell Film and Christine Haebler for Screen Siren Pictures are producing with Jens Meurer and Trish Dolman executive producing. UTA is representing US rights.  The Solution is handling worldwide rights to the German/Canadian co-production at AFM this year.
