• Saw this last night at a WGA screening. So good. Haven’t been that moved by a film in a long time. Trailer reads a little commercial and upbeat compared to what the movie actually is. It’s a must see.

• That synopsis sounds like one of the fake Oscarbait films in Tropic Thunder. Hope it’s good, though.

• Hero gay couple save teenager with downs from evil Republican parents who were renting him out as a speed bump, it’ll sweep all the award shows including the “Country Music Awards” which will be a first….and likely the last.

• It’s set in Los Angeles, but Alan’s character is from Queens, NY.

  I saw this at the WGA too and was a puddle of tears by the end. A wonderful film with stellar performances. My vote for Best Film for the Independent Spirit Awards for sure! An absolute MUST SEE!

• I hope this movie gains some momentum in the upcoming weeks. Alan is fantastic in this movie, and really deserves recognition for it.
