CBS’ freshman drama Made In Jersey, which was pulled after two low-rated airings on Friday, is getting slotted on Saturdays. The network has scheduled Made In Jersey originals on Saturday, Nov. 24 and Dec. 1, at 8 PM. CBS followed a similar route last fall with comedy How To Be A Gentleman, which also was cancelled after two low-rated airings on Thursday. It too was relocated to Saturdays before CBS pulled it permanently after one outing on the low-trafficked night.

I’m happy for the fans of the show. It’s always nice to see the last episodes of your beloved show.
I’d like someone to tell us what the top CDs at CBS had to do with these shows. Seems more Network CDs lost their touch in recognizing the right talent for shows, even when they come eye-to-eye with some. So, anyone got answers?
I truly enjoyed this show about a new lawyer just out of law school and trying her first cases and doing pretty well. This actress was treffic playing this character and therefore I would love to see this show come back on the fall schedule. It really gives young people a sense of hope while trying to find a job. This show was extremly entertaining and it made people happy to know that there are really people out there that do try, and she showed how she cared about her clients cases no matter how difficult the case was. Please bring it back on television. Thank you.
I agree! loved your comment & this show. I really hope that it comes back, fridays or saturdays… (or pretty much any night). I finally decided to watch a ‘regular tv show’ again after what seems like quite the dry spell in my opinion of tv (+ we have so many great channels that aren’t mainstream) – & it was canceled.
thanks for bringing it back for a couple nights soon & hopefully w/b more than that
Call me crazy but I actually liked Made In Jersey. To me this is a case of good show wrong network. CBS should have gave this show to the CW. I think it would have found an audience over there.
It does seem more like a CW show. Loved the intro/images of NJ and music + that it’s not a gangster show, more of a real picture of the n.east rather than a caricature. Other favourite tv shows of mine have been ER, Ally McBeal, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, 7th Heaven and have all been very successful, long running shows (more recently, also we like “Last Resort”).
Thanks for this one! (even a couple of episodes). The acting & writing was so well done. Really hope to see it back soon and have it on our calendar re: Nov 24th.
This show was unwatchable! It does not even deserve the Saturday night graveyard “witness protection program” airings! Only in Hollywood would a show about a native New Jersey girl cast a Brit in the lead role doing a nails on the chalkboard atrocious “Jersey” accent. I look forward to Dame Helen Mirren in the Snooki bio pic.
Britons play Americans all the time. I don’t see why this particular role should have been any different
This looked like a USA show. I liked the original title better, “Baby Big Shot,” they should have stuck with that. Not that it matters at this point.
I don’t know about that. USA canned the similar “Fairly Legal” after two seasons. Still, I’m glad CBS’s airing the leftover eps.
This is nothing more than the network burning off remaining episodes that have been in the can for some time now but at least their small amount of fans will get to see the conclusion of this show.
p.s. I already posted a comment… but also want to say, I live in NJ. this was actually a good / interesting portrayal of people & places, not all ‘gangster’ or some kind of caricature of everything. Loved the intro (music, images) to the show also… so whatever happens w/ it – thanks for even a few episodes of something that stands out and is not so typical. It was nice to see scenes of the real NJ that I drive by & are still relatively new for me, living here for the last 8 yrs. fyi my other favourite shows in the past have been ER, Ally McBeal, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, 7th Heaven and those have all been very successful. thanks for listening!
I like this show. Friday is a tough night. Saturday is worse. Someone at CBS should be cancled for this decision. I would bet that Blue Bloods is not making any money. As someone who likes Tom Selleck I can not watch Blue Bloods. Made in Jersey is much more watchable.
This is my first time commenting on a TV show. CBS really in my opinion made a mistake taking Made in Jersey off. It had great story lines, great characters. The writers made it different than most of the ” who done its”
My daughter and I enjoy “Made in Jersey” very much. We are hoping CBS realizes that the “rating” system is seriously flawed and more ppl watch the show than they “think”.
Its the end of December and we still want Made in Jersey picked up for a full season. The entire Nielson rating system is a joke. It doesn’t capture accurate numbers. It certainly doesn’t capture DVR watchers-which lets face it has probably quadrupled in the last six months. We have two households that liked watching it together. Wish CBS would reconsider!!!
Finally something enjoyable to watch on Saturday night! Love the accent….I can picture her as Stephanie Plum!
