EXCLUSIVE: Oscar winner Charlize Theron will narrate the documentary Angels In Exile about street kids in her native South Africa. Directed by Billy Raftery, the film examines the real life of homeless youth in Durham, South Africa. Raftery spent eight years following two youths in particular, Zulieka and Ariel, as they grew from children to adolescents and dealt with the dangers of their world. “You can’t help but connect with Zulieka, her strength and radiant disposition somehow shines through the unimaginably rough world she finds herself in,” said South African-born Theron about what drew her to the project. Raftery, Adam Paul Smith, Franklin Martin and Doug Matejka are producing Angels In Exile in association with the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, Red Granite Productions and Act 4 Entertainment. Riza Aziz, David Johnson, Joe Petri and Harry Barton executive produce. Theron’s charity works to keep African young people safe from HIV/AIDS. Appearing in the upcoming Mad Max reboot, Charlize Theron is repped by WME.

Hottest lady in Hollywood.
When will someone be the vice of homeless kids in the us or the rest of the homeless in the us?
This film is taking two kids from South Africa to represent the global homeless issue as it is similar in all cities, some more drastic than others. So that is what Angels In Exile does…represents the global homeless youth crisis through an intimate journey of two children! Your problems are remedied thanks to Angels In Exile!
gawd shes hawt
Charlize Theron probably gets the Gold Medal for talented, cool, funny and ineffably gorgeous actresses in the Biz. She is one of the few in our industry who has her shit together but manages to be a kick in the ass to hang out with. It’s almost insane and wildly unfair that someone so smart, well spoken, conversant on so much stuff, from politics to international affairs, also has THESE knock-out looks. But hell — that’s Charlize. Many an actress should take a page from her book on how to sustain a terrific career, be responsible and law abiding and, most of all, not be ass (in private as well as the tabloids!) Nice to see she is throwing her weight behind the youth homelessness cause.
its great to see ‘ Charlize Theron behind street children especially in her native country, its a big problem and worse the government has hidden it under carpet..instead resort to force removal of the kids from the streets, they beat and throw them far away where they think they wont come back to town, im a former streetchild and i was fortunate to be part of the group to help the movie director Billy Raftery to go deep into the streets where nobody ever went.
