EXCLUSIVE: Comedy Central has picked up freshman animated comedy Brickleberry for a second season to premiere in fall 2013. The second-season order is for 13 episodes, up from 10 episodes for the current first season. Brickleberry, executive produced by Daniel Tosh, has done well airing behind Tosh’s hit Tosh.0 on Tuesday. The animated comedy, which revolves around a group of dysfunctional park rangers at a second-tier national park, premiered on September 25 to 1.7 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49. Its strength has been young male demos, which are coveted by advertisers. Seven weeks into the run, Brickleberry is averaging 1.8 total million viewers each week and is the second-highest-rated series in its time slot with men 18-34 and men 18-24 in all of television. “We are happy to continue educating America’s youth about nature, and the national conservation movement,” commented Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s Head of Original Programming and Production.
Brickleberry is created/executive produced by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black (MTV2’s Stankervision). “This is incredible news!” O’Guin said of the renewal. “I can’t wait to get more angry phone calls from my mother.” Added Black, “Now I can pay off my Chevy Cobalt.” Brickleberry voice talent includes Kaitlin Olson, Tom Kenny, Dave Herman, Jerry Minor, Roger Black, and Tosh as Malloy, the cuddly yet vulgar and spoiled resident bear. Brickleberry is produced by Fox 21, marking the first cable comedy series and first animated series for the company behind cable drama hits Sons Of Anarchy and Homeland. The animation is produced at Bento Box.

The funniest show on tv right now!
Are you a staff member or just incredibly young and immature?
now renew futurama
Congrats to the 2 hardest working misfits in Hollywood! And Roger – that’s a lie about your call. You don’t have one. You wish you had a Cobalt. BRICKLEBERRY!
Funny, funny show. Crack open a bottle of yellowtail and enjoy.
I have to see this show. When is it on air?
Great news, this show is hilarious and completely underrated
really don’t understand why it receives so much hate, it’s the same sort of humor as family guy.
Being a French person (lived in the US and the UK for over 14 years) who loves Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Futurama and South Park I found that series ok, nothing too new though. The only reason I am actually writing here is because I was shocked by the following comment made by Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s Head of Original Programming and Production: “We are happy to continue educating America’s youth about nature, and the national conservation movement” ????????????????
How the heck can you call this education??? It’s pure entertainment and in no way an educational program! What on earth did we learn about nature watching this programme??? Maybe I missed something thinking it was just entertainment…
make another squabbits episode!!! XD
idk but i think he was just making an ironic joke
richard pryor made a comment at the start of one of his shows…he had all black people raise their hand…then all the white people..all the indians…etc then he says well…if you get offended easy you best get up and leave now! because I am going to mess with you. this show leaves nothing out. it covers all. and criticizes each and everything and everyone. so if you cant take a joke you may get your little feelings hurt. (ron white) comedy is not always pretty. i rate this show close to south park and family guy excellent! i have watched the first season twice. when does the second season air?
I only seen 2 episodes, fucking hysterical. I want more where did it go..
