Comedy Central has renewed the weekly topical series, The Burn With Jeff Ross for a second season. The show, executive produced by and starring the network’s resident roastmaster, has received a six-episode order for a January 8 premiere. Ross executive produces The Burn with Mike Gibbons, Chris McGuire and Tagline Television’s Willie Mercer and Amy Zvi. “The world is definitely a better place for having Jeff roast it on a weekly basis,”said Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production. Added Ross, “I consider it my personal mission to roast the world’s big shots, bullies, and big mouths every single week. The network only had two demands: that I cut down my cursing by ten percent and my hair by eighty percent.”

this is the perfect example of just because you have a TV show on Comedy Central, it doesn’t mean that you’re funny.
Big congrats to Jeff. He is one of the smartest, funniest comics out there and he has worked hard to get there. Not only brilliant, but also a good guy.
This show is dreadful. Jeff isnt funny. Comedy Central is really on the slide down with this. Jeff looks like fran lebowitz.
Best news I’ve heard in ages. This is such a great show, and I’m putting my name in here so people’ll know I’m not linked to it in any way. I just love roast comedy; it’s already such a difficult niche even when you have time to prepare material to use on people you know. But roasting strangers on the street is something few people can pull off yet almost everyone can appreciate. I loved the episode where he roasted people who parked in handicapped spaces. I especially appreciated how they left in the bit where the stoners chased him across the parking lot after he confiscated their weed. Kudos to Comedy Central for putting this show on. Jeff Ross looks like the bastard child of Honey Boo Boo’s mom and Richard Simmons, but I’m starting to find that attractive – I just can’t stop watching him work!
As for his pickup…

I love this show!!!!!
