EXCLUSIVE: Disney has bought Jeremy Miller and Dan Cohn’s Happy Birthday feature pitch. A mid six-figure deal was concluded this week, Deadline has learned. The live action comedy is about a man who turns 40 and vows to never celebrate another birthday again. Unfortunately for him, he finds himself reliving the four worst
birthdays from his past. Elizabeth Ingold and Chris Whitaker developed the pitch with Miller and Cohn. Jim & Chris Whitaker will produce. Formerly staff writers on HBO’s Entourage, Miller and Cohn recently wrote Heavy And Rolling for Showtime which they are producing with Ryan Phillippe, Breckin Meyer, and David Schiff. The duo also currently is writing a drama pilot for Fox 21. Miller and Cohn are repped by WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and the law firm of Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein & Kohner.

I thought Heavy & Rolling died a long time ago. Not true?
These guys are extremely talented. I hear Heavy and Rolling is awesome. Congrats.
The Miller/ Cohn team is epic and I look forward
to watching their next masterpiece they create.
What a brotastic comment.
I wonder if the lead character is a “playboy type who hasn’t yet grown up”?
They both have vastly over rated fantasy teams.
Congrats to a really great writing team. Sounds interesting.
Love these writers, talented and good people. I can’t wait to see this movie!
Congrats! Two of the most talented guys in town.
Another hit by these talented writers.
Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Hope to see more of their work soon.
Congratulations to the Miller/ Cohn team! Can’t wait to see what they have for us in the future.
A recycled plot concept from these guys…remember ‘That Was Then’ anyone? Betting on seeing some sophomoric, trite gags. Nice sales job. Hope these two don’t blow all their earnings at the track.
“Another hit??” Did I miss the first one? I have no idea who these guys are… but the comments they gave themselves are a nice touch.
