Wonderful that people from all over the country are coming together and helping those in need on the East Coast. I could not think of a better song for the telethon them than “Give a Little Bit.” Roger Hodgson, co-founder of Supertramp, and singer/songwriter of “Give a Little Bit” has donated the use of his song to many worthy causes, this obviously being one of them. Let’s give what we can. Donations still be accepted. Even a little bit will make a difference.
This song sums it up – the key is everyone doing their part, giving what they can. Whether it’s money or a blanket, some water, food, gasoline or simply a helping hand, we all make a difference. “Give a little bit – give a little bit of my love to you There’s so much that we need to share… send a smile and show you care..”
Thanks, Roger Hodgson, for this timeless song which has inspired and helped millions of people over the years to reach out in care.
Maybe they could take that money and have Ty Pennington build some houses for people that need the help…….
Thank you soooo much!! This touched my heart <3 So nice to know that there is giving out there for people like me on the east coast in NJ that's affected by Sandy. God bless you all !
