Jeff Lewis and his production company have filed suit against his longtime assistant Jenni Pulos alleging that she is in violation of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements signed in 2008 and again in 2010. Lewis, who is a producer of the Bravo series Flipping Out, claims in the suit (read it here) that it came to his attention that Pulos has written or is writing a book about her confidential experiences as his personal and executive assistant. The suit says the book initially was titled Hang In There, Baby: What One Of The World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About life, Work And Love. Lewis says in the suit that Pulos told him the book was not about him and the title has been shortened to Hang In There, Baby. The suit also says Lewis requested a copy of the manuscript but Pulos told him her agents advised against providing one. On Amazon.com, the book Hang In There, Baby by Jenni Pulos and Laura Morton is listed as scheduled to be released August 20, 2013. In addition to damages and court costs, Lewis seeks “a preliminary and permanent injunction” against Pulos or any of her representatives from “publishing any and all facts and/or references to events … related in any manner to personal, private, proprietary and confidential information” she became aware of during her employment.

Knowing Jeff and Jenni for many years this is a sad ending to a friendship and what the hatred of Hollywood does to people. I doubt Jenni would throw Jeff under the bus, and Jeff clearly is receiving poor advice.
How much of ALL of this is just manufactured drama…one can never be sure about what’s really “real” on “reality” tv….many of the current participants are much more irritating than entertaining (see Gage). Now that the production feels much more contrived than spontaneous it’s not longer that much fun to watch
No one would have never heard of this book if he had not sued.
Years from now when the cameras are gone, the checks aren’t coming in, and they dont feel the power that they do now but that they ruined a friendship with greed.
Chapter 2: B!+@# I said glazed donuts!
So he has yet to see the book or manuscript in any shape or form, but Lewis is still suing her for breach of contract? If that isn’t worth Pulos adding another chapter or two!
By suing her, he can gain access to a manuscript.
Well, sounds as if Mr. Lewis is “Difficult to work with.”
Well, that is going to make for an awkward day at the office…. Then again, Jeff’s behavior is so outrageous ON SCREEN, that I don’t think that she can possibly reveal anything that he hasn’t already revealed himself. How is it a violation when your boss tells the world every week how insanely difficult he is?!
LEWIS should quit bitching out and take the bitch slap he thinks
he getting. Get a life, LEWIS, it’s only a goddamn book. And not even really about you. Worst things happen to others without HALF OF WHAT YOU HAVE. Hurricane Sandy victims?
I used to watch this show. Was entertained by the crazy dude with the lips. I always liked the woman.
After the drama with the ex bf I stopped watching.
The lawsuit is typical Hollywood. EGO.
He’s the star, no one else can outshine him.
Well there goes the season finale! Way to ruin it Jeff! I’m going to buy the book in bulk just because of this frivolous lawsuit! What Jeff needs to understand is that Jenny is just as important to the show as Zoila. Without the trio this show is going to suck. Good luck.
I hope this means that the show is cancelled
This is clearly a publicity stunt to promote both the book and the show.
Is this a made up feud to sell books?
The book must be pretty harsh, otherwise she would have just let her boss read it, and get his permission.
Any person who works for people for years, then slams them in a harsh tell-all book should never work again. you’d have to be crazy to hire someone who abuses trust and confidence like that.
Most best sellers don’t earn you enough to never work again. hope you came from money, jenni –
Or is this all thought up my Jeff and Jenn to get some free press for the book?
Yeah..but, before filing the lawsuit, did he give her the required “you’ll never work in this town again” notice?
I love this show…but I can’t imagine the show without Jenni …. This is sad news……
Sue her Jeff!!!! Jenni got too greedy.
I just feel like she MUST be getting paid a very pretty penny working as Jeff’s assistant, and from the show itself…..It just goes to show, for some people IT’S JUST NEVER ENOUGH….I feel bad for Jeff,,I really do…..
What does Andy Cohen think?
Jenni may have to be released from her flipping out contract or they’ll cancel the show?
I hope this is just a publicity stunt to promote the book and show. Jenni is one of the nicest people on the planet and Flipping Out wouldn’t exist if she hadn’t brought Jeff to Bravo to do the show. Even if the book did refer to him, I’d hope he’d want to support her endeavors after she made him rich.
If she signed a non-disclosure agreement and now she’s writing a tell-all book, I think it’s an open and shut case. Unless it was one of those non-disclosure agreements that had an exception for tell-all books with really nasty titles about your boss. That’s probably what’s going on.
the agent made the right move not to send the book to the guy. wouldn’t want to give it away to your only customer.
This whole scandal smells of Zoila. She’s dividing and conquering.
Best. Comment. Ever.
As a big fan of the show, who really cares? So tired of people being famous for being on a show that not only hypes their bizarre behavior but encourages it.
