• I was hoping the second season would be better, but this looks just as bad. The dialogue in this clip was truly terrible.

• I completely disagree. This clip is as dynamic as any Broadway season is supposed to feel like. Fasten your seat belts. Looks like it’s going to be a bumpy (TV) season that I’m very much looking forward to and I’m sure I’m not the only one. “Dallas” on Shubert Alley – a great idea beautifully cast and executed generally and from episode to episode too.

• This clip just brightened my day before heading off to work. SMASH S2 can’t get here soon enough. Jennifer Hudson looks fantastic, and her fellow IDOL Kat McPhee is looking stronger, too. And bringing in the new stud is a very smart move.

• That is one hot clip! I will be shocked if this series acerages higher than a 1.8 gor s2. Talk about completely misjudging what America wants to see on the biggest possible level.

• So excited for Season 2! Love Jennifer Hudson. She looks amazing and sounds really great. Not sure how I feel about the tension between Ivy and Karen — should spark a whole #teamivy and #teamkaren thing. But i will say one thing…i miss Will Chase already but glad that the rest of the deadweight is gone.

• Nothing in this show’s ratings warrant a second season. It’s only on because Greenblatt put so much personal prestige into it and he has to keep it on or his ego and his credibility would be gone. This will be its last season. He won’t be able to justify a third season so for those of you who like this type of show enjoy it. They will make some money on the DVD sales but this was never a good fit for NBC. It would do better on Bravo.

• I love smash and was looking forward to the new season but I can’t stand Hudson’s screechy voice. After having her hurt my ears every 5 minutes with her weight commercials I was hoping I wouldn’t hear her voice for awhile. I guess I’ll be fast forwarding during her songs next season.
