Investigation Discovery has greenlighted a second season of Deadly Affairs for summer 2013. The series hosted by Susan Lucci premiered in September to a 1.22 HH rating and 3.5 million total viewers, the second-best series debut in network history. Deadly Affairs, produced by Sirens Media, tells real-life tales of passionate love affairs-turned-crimes of passion.

Great show. It’s too bad we have to wait 6 months for new episodes.
I agree. But why only 10 episodes??? I know cable networks have these short season – some as low as 9. I wonderif part of the wait is due to Devious Maids – isn’t Susan Lucci in that as well – though I don’t think she has a huge role in it (rumour has it thuogh she is hillarious). I wonder how much they are paying Lucci per episode? I doubt she is making millions like when she was on All My Children.
