NBC said the Parks And Recreation episode featuring a cameo from Vice President Joe Biden will air November 15. The show and the network had kept news of the shoot under wraps during the presidential campaign. Here’s a clip:

This is enough to make me give on the show. It’s not all that clever anymore and Biden’s ugly mug just does it in.
Great. More ammunition for Fox News. Was this really necessary?
Leslie’s infatuation with Joe Biden has been a running joke on the show since season 1, and both Biden and President Obama are on record as fans of the show. They filmed in D.C. over the summer and got the likes of John McCain to appear too, so I’m not sure what the big deal is. They didn’t get him because of some sort of liberal agenda.
I’ve stopped watching the show as the writing has gone downhill, but I don’t see how anyone who watches the show can object to it. Leslie having a crush on Biden has been a recurring gag since the first season (and Biden is effectively the punchline to the gag, since the point is that he’s an unlikely sex symbol).
I’m sure people will criticize this just like they do when Obama takes 30 minutes out of his day to make an NCAA bracket for March Madness.
