The Twilight Saga star is in talks to join the Warner Bros con artists film, an insider confirms to Deadline. Kristen Stewart would star in Focus with Ben Affleck. Stewart’s role would be an inexperienced con artist who hooks up with the more seasoned Affleck. Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who were behind the camera on Crazy, Stupid, Love, will direct Focus. The duo also wrote the screenplay. Denise DiNovi will produce. As this project develops, Stewart will be hitting a lot of screens in the next few weeks with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 out on November 16 and the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s One The Road out on limited release on December 16. Kristen Stewart is repped by the Gersh Agency.

Eh. Ben Affleck only gives a crap about his public persona when he’s campaigning for an Oscar. Doubt this film will start production until after the Oscars…Ben focuses on the films and not how the public perceives him or that silly tabloid shit the rest of the time…which is the way it should be. This and the Whitey Bulger projects both seem promising.

“Hating” would have been if society had risen up in defense of marriage, children and wives everywhere and struck down another home-wrecker. Liberty Ross played Kristen Stewart’s mother for crying out loud, and look how badly she was scr*wed over. “Hating” was how we let Kristen Stewart get away with what she did. “Hating” is how Robert Pattinson will now always be known as “Rupert” Pattinson.
Of course it’s the woman’s fault, not the married man’s at all. It’s amazing how easily Rupert Sanders got off the hook compared to Kristen.
So Kristen will be the lead in another big studio movie while her boyfriend is only doing supporting roles in small and foreign indies nobody will see. I guess after Snow White got 400 million wolrdwide studios are willing to work with her, while Rob’s last flops aren’t helping him getting a big budget movie.

Pattinson’s indies did much better than Stewart’s indies at the box office. And his studio movie Water for Elephants made triple its budget while SWATH did not break even with its huge budget and promo and half of grosses going to the theatres.

Why do you think that this will be big studio movie? Did you read plot? Is this the movie you would rush to see? This looks like another small budget indie movie. That will have limited release. And will have some 2-3 million overall. This is not big movie. Don’t confuse it with Ben-director. Ben-director movies have Oscar-buzz and good box-office. Ben-actor is not that successful lately.
She does not have any credit for Snow White. She and they were lucky that Evil Queen was looking so awesome in trailers that people went to see that movie despite Kristen. I don’t see how they wanted to do sequel without Evil Queen. Who will see it? Even Huntsmen was boring and empty character. And people hated Snow White. Kristen was supporting actress in that. Put her in another 40-60 millions budget movie and it will bomb. If they don’t put cool supporting character there that will steal all movie.
Pattinson and Stewart are on the same level. They will book some roles in small budget movies and then they will disappear like Orlando Bloom. They don’t have Twilight anymore to stay relevant and surface every year for free publicity. Just look and Shia and Megan. They were Gods when they had Transformes and then they vanished after free publicity ended. Orlando was relevant while he had Pirats. Even Kira vanished. But Kira always had career outside Pirats so she can do any movie with Oscar buzz and be back. Kristen and Robert can’t do movies with Oscar buzz to be back. And they can’t lead big movie. So they will just vanish like Taylor Lautner already did. Did you notice how he just vanishes between promotions of Twilight? And remember how he “booked” all those roles in big movies. And then none of them were developed after Abduction flopped.

Yes John is a female Kristen fan who has to put down Pattinson to try to make Kristen look better. Her fans do that all the time.
…and the Rob Pattinson fans do the same exact thing. I was reading an article on Queen of the Desert (sounds interesting) and some random poster started rambling on about Kristen Stewart, calling her all sorts of slurs and trying to compare the two. In retrospect, it’s a bit amusing and ironic that the fans are constantly pitting the two against each other…They a) obviously get along on some level and b) are obviously not competing against each other for roles. Both Pattinson and Stewart have some uber fans that really need to step away from the gossip rags and stop harboring so much emotion for people they don’t even know and who have no affect on their lives. Stewart made a terrible choice that plenty of people in the business (Jude Law, David Letterman, etc.) and real life have made and paid a very public penance. However, it was several months ago and people should really get the fuck over something that should have never been made public in the first place.
Rant over. That said, good for Stewart and Pattinson for choosing some interesting projects…while poor Lautner is in some Sandler comedy.
So this is a rip-off of the fine film Confidence…substituting Ben Affleck for the Edward Burns role & Kristin Stewart for the Rachel Weisz role. I’m sure Ed Harris is available for the Dustin Hoffman role and as long as we’re talking mediocrity…what about Matthew Perry for the Andy Garcia role.

Ben Affleck turned out to be good director but he is mediocre actor. And Kristen… Well Kristen is officially the worst actress in the world. Literally. I don’t see out there worst actress then her. I’m sure even Paris Hilton and Britney Spears can show more different emotions on screen then Kristen who can only bite her lips or open mouth when script requires her to show emotions.

Shy, I concur completely. But, Ben Affleck is only a effective director -not good director. And, yes his acting is usually is personality-free and dead weight. His acting style was incredibly distracting in ” Argo.” I have never been Kristen Stewart fan because she shares the same acting style of Ben Affleck, and she is even more personality-free than Michelle Williams when she does publicity. So, basically she will be a good match for Affleck’s stiff acting style.

Emma stone is also currently in talks for this film but apparently Kristen Stewart’s team let this out of the bag to edge out competition (mainly throw off Stone). Nothing has been finalized and Stone was photographed having a meeting with Ben Affleck just last week.
