EXCLUSIVE: Mario Bello has signed on to the kidnapping thriller Prisoners. The Touch actress will play Grace, the wife of Hugh Jackman’s Keller character in the movie. Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa Leo, Paul Dano and Viola Davis are also in the Denis Villeneuve-directed film. Prisoners follows a small town carpenter, Jackman’s Keller, who tries to find his kidnapped daughter and her best friend himself after the police can’t. Gyllenhaal is the detective assigned to the case – a cop who doesn’t like civilians getting involved in police work. Alcon Entertainment is producing Prisoners. Production on the movie is scheduled to start early next year and Warner Bros is planning a September 20, 2013 release. Bello is currently working on Paul Haggis’ The Third Person and recently wrapped up Grown-Ups 2 with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and gang for Sony. Bello is repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management.
