This is what the Obama campaign is reduced to. Sad. This is exactly why our country is in the crapper. They more interested in glitz and show, rather than substance. America’s economy is doomed with four more years of Obama.
If you think this is why our country is in the crapper, you are clueless, delusional or a combo platter. And if we get four years of Romney, not only will America’s economy sink further down the crapper, it will be joined there by America’s moral compass.
You need to lighten up.
“The Obama campaign?” Coming from Fox? Seriously??
So, Obama wrote and animated that? Cool! He is SO multitalented!
Er, this cartoon wasn’t made by the Obama campaign. You sound like an idiot. (I realize for Republicans that’s kind of par for the course.)
And here we thought it was Bush’s fault. Damn, you, Simpsons! Damn you!
Just pointing out with the electoral map in the background, Obama wins with 290 electoral college votes compared to 248 for Romney (you need 270 to win).
razor sharp! but I’m a little disappointed Al Jean and the boys couldn’t work in a “tiger blood” joke. Oh well!
Heather Gilroy you’re idiot if you think Obama’s campaign is behind this parody, but you’re a bigger idiot if you think Romney is going to some how “fix” this economy. #fourmoreyears
umm, the Obama campaign didn’t actually do this. so sick of absolutely everything being a commentary on the perceived lefty conspiracy. what do you envision a Romney presidency looking like?? god only knows since he changes his mind about everything every 5 minutes. anyway, it’s hilarious by the way.
Heather Gillroy is right on the money. Hey, at least if Obama wins I’ll be able to afford a house in LA in the next 4 years…
Much funnier than similar attempts from Lena and Joss. If corporations are people and elections are a joke, then only animated characters should be able to endorse candidates.
Watchers of The Simpsons will recognize the series’ ongoing painting of Republicans in this similar manner. This video is simply an extension of that.
Typical liberal bias coming as usual from, uh, FOX.
Heather is the same person who was embarrassed by the Michelle Obama clip on Jimmy Kimmel showing her getting him up to vote. Obvious she is a person with no sense of humor. Heather, maybe you could tell us which Mitt Romney you are voting for, the moderate governor of Massachusetts or the right wing nut job who will do away with Planned Parenthood and be advised by the same people who brought you the Iraq war. Romney is an empty suit!
That was almost as funny as cancer. Almost. It’s so sad to see the lifeless shell of The Simpsons still dragging along. Oh well, at lease I’ve got my VHS tapes of the golden 90′s era (yes, I still have a VHS player…)
Oh, the irony.
All the more impressive when you realize they mounted this prodigious effort without using the crutch of making it even remotely funny.
this comment is directed towards “the truth”. As an independent, i’ve been carefully weighing what i feel are the pros and cons of both candidates. i listen to arguments on both sides, and i’m honestly still torn. But what really angers me is when someone calls someone else an “idiot” for their beliefs. The great thing about our country is that we have a choice, and we should respect each individuals choice no matter what it is.
I don’t think Romney is an idiot, I think he’s a liar and a flip-flopper.
