NBC has added two more comedy projects to its development slate. The first is a multi-generational family comedy with a twist from writer Jeff Lowell. It is set in two time periods: in the present, centering on a married couple with children, and in the 1980, following that same couple as teenagers dealing with their parents. Lowell is executive producing alongside Peter Traugott through his TBD Prods. Universal TV, where TBD is based, is producing. Lowell, repped by UTA and Management 360, also is co-writing/executive producing/showrunning F*ck I’m In My Twenties, a half-hour comedy project at NBC based on the Tumblr blog of 24-year-old Emma Koenig. It is produced by Uni TV and BermanBraun.
The Kat Coiro-written Slouching Toward Adulthood is based on the book of the same name by Sally Koslow. It centers on a messy blended family where adult children are still living at home. Coiro executive produces with 3 Arts’ Oly Obst & David Miner and Christy Fletcher.
