NBC has given a back order to freshman comedy Guys With Kids, executive produced by Jimmy Fallon. The pickup is for four episodes, bringing its first season to 17 episodes. The news comes on the heels of the multi-camera comedy posting a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating last night, steady with its last original two weeks ago. Guys With Kids got a tough assignment this fall, slotted on Wednesdays in a self-starting 8 PM comedy block with the now-defunct Animal Practice. It had been the stronger of the two, regularly building onto its Animal Practice lead-in. Of NBC’s four new fall comedies, the network has given three back orders. Go On and The New Normal have received full-season pickups, with Guys With Kids getting a partial order. Both new NBC dramas, Revolution and Chicago Fire, have received Back 9 Orders.

Leave GWK alone you haters, it is a good family show, thanks to those of you who enjoy it, it needs room to grow, it is running against the x factor and survivor, thats y the ratings are low, stop being haters, thanks to those who said positive things about it, lets go team GWK!

The ratings on this show have been going down steadily–it won’t last past this season. Probably only got that back order to keep Fallon happy.
After reading your comment, I still don’t like Guys with Kids, but I have a sudden urge to go sign up for DISH and don’t know why…
I watched GWK the other night and thought it was really really good. Funny! Sometimes laugh out loud funny. The girl from Children’s Hospital is great. So is the whitest kids you know guy.
Bottom line, the show is thoroughly enjoyable and I don’t have to worry about lame sex or inuendos as I watch it with my kids.
More shows like this one please!
I really like GWK. It is laugh out loud funny and the cast is terrific! NBC should air it after The Voice, like every other show on NBC that jas been given a chance. More people need to watch this show. It is undeniably likeable.
Guys With Kids is wonderful! It may not be brilliant, but it’s written well and the characters interact in a way that’s just so cute! Sure, babies in bars is not everyone’s cup of tea, and the guys still have a lot of growing up to do themselves, but I simply love the interplay of the couples. Especially Bledsoe and Anderson with their 4 kids (“they broke the TV, Man!!”) hahaha..wonderful. Glad it’s staying on!

Guys With Kids is a very good show that should be given a chance to grow. The New Normal is a joke of show that is being pushed for some unknown reason. Keep GWK and switch the show night with The New Normal and watch it grow.
You obviously don’t recognize true talent when you see it! I was very pleased to see such a positive family _ based show. It was nice to have such a dynamic, multi cultural cast. I was ecstatic to see the child actors; return as adults from decades ago. Stop hating and appreciate the reunion!
