His wife may be starring on Fox’s American Idol, but Nick Cannon is staying firmly in the NBC camp. The America’s Got Talent host has signed a first-look deal with the network for his NCredible Entertainment banner. Under the pact, NCredible principals Cannon and longtime manager and business partner Michael Goldman will develop unscripted and scripted programming for the network. Cannon also will return as host on America’s Got Talent next summer. “We are gratified to know that this new agreement will expand our successful working relationship with Nick beyond America’s Got Talent and allow him to further draw on his notable creative instincts,” said NBC’s head of alternative programming Paul Telegdy.
In addition to Cannon’s long-time collaboration with Nickelodeon, his company is producing the upcoming Cartoon Network live-action sketch comedy series Incredible Crew created by Cannon. The company also is about to start production on a reboot of the Cannon-created Wild ‘N Out for MTV2. On the feature side, NCredible recently wrapped School Dance for Lionsgate, which marks Cannon’s feature directorial debut. Cannon and NCredible are with ICM Partners.

Yes, Nick! Do your thing!!! Immense talent and great score for NBC.
I watch in wonder of those who raised Nick Cannon because they surely did a wonderful job. He is talent beyond for sure, but more importantly he appears a stellar human being with a kind and loving heart. God bless (blesses) nick Cannon
This is AWESOME! Nick is such an amazing talent and whomever at NBC put this together is a genius.
Nick gets a deal, but Howard Stern is left out in the cold? If I was him I would threaten to not go back to AGT unless I got more money. After all, he did save NBC by agreeing to be a judge and increasing viewership to unbelievable levels.
Nick Cannoon is an untapped jewel of a talent…smarts, charisma, foresight…go get ‘em, Nick!
