I had the pleasure of working with Mikeee a few years back and he was one of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our business (and the world in general) needs more people like him.
The world is a little less purple today.
Terribly sad news he was a super nice guy who genuinely cared about other people. I met him long ago and thought he was great. His family should be proud of the work he did. He was dedicated and honest and those are rare qualities in a town of people who lack those traits.
May god bless his soul and look after his family and friends.
The world lost one of the good guys today. In an industry of cut-throats and egomaniacs, he was humble, genuine and always kind. Wishing him eternal peace in a purple heaven.
Dear beloved Mikeeee,
Thanks for all your hard work and the high level of respect you gave to all you came in contact with. I know your soul is at peace. I pray that we will get through this. It definitely will not be the same without you.
God bless this wonderful person that past away to soon. Truly bless his family and all of a Paramount pictures coworkers.
The one word I can think of to describe Mike. Sweetness. From now on when I see the color he loved, fond memories will come to mind! Rest in peace my dear friend…
You complete us. Purple forever
My heart goes out To the family …
Let me know if I can do any thing to help.
No… did not not have honor to have met him.
But just saw the post and wanted to send my regards.
Nothing but one unconditional love,
Lil brother
A creative genius, but also a dear man, and humble soul. You will be missed not only by your industry and profession, but by your friends most of all. Purple will will never seem the same.
So sad and way too young to go and be with The Lord!
MikE was one of a kind. My heart is sad and hurts. I remember his contagious smile and love for others. He will be missed on earth, but is now with hisFather in heaven. I know I’ll see him one day again.
May your spirit and purple heart live on to make us smile every time we look at a picture and remember all the good memories you left us with, till next time my friend…
Went to U of MD with Mike. Always a nice guy.
Love you always, Mikeee
Your Big Sis
Im devasted that Mike was taken so soon from us. The sweetest, most considerate colleague I had the pleasure of knowing during our years together at New Line. He transported every co-worker’s office into their fantasy birthday space with surprise, passion and glee. A rare endangered species in our business. Bless your heart Mike, bless your family and loves ones. Sad day.
Mikeee certainly get’s the Purple Heart of our Creative Team. He will be missed every day.
Rest in Peace Mikee(Grembo). You and your purple pen will be greatly missed…
Mikee’s passing is an incredibly sad and heartbreaking loss. He was a kind and lovely man that made life, work and every social occasion that we shared together a far better experience through the presence of his warm and playful spirit.
I’m grateful to have known him and pray that his family and friends are comforted by their own great memories – and the sight of joyous purple – forever and always.
Mikeeee was one of the few GENUINE people in this town. Shame that the new generation of up-and-coming executives have different priorities. Wishing him a wonderful journey.
Dear MIKEEEEEEE,
You were my partner in crime whenever you came back to visit the Jersey Shore. How will I attend our next High School Reunion without my dance partner? I will miss you soooooo much!!!
You, me, and Donny Osmond and the color purple!!! I have know you since high school and I never met a more genuine person. I love you and will miss you. We always had the best and silliest of times.
The World is a sadder place without you! My sympathies to your family at this very, very, very sad time.
(I can’t believe Stan and I were just laughing and talking about you last night and then Tracy called…I am still in shock!)
Love,
Barbie
We’re moved by what happens to our friends, to feel the joy in their successes, hurt when they feel pain and sadness when they leave us. Our friend Mikeeee had by any measure a life cut short. Yet a life in which he had become my friend and always made me feel like a member of his extended family. I’ll miss you Mikeeee. Your humor, creativity and wisdom shared will always be with me. If laughter is the best medicine, then Mikeeee dispensed more than anyone I know. Being genuine, kind, effervescent, honest and loyal came natural to him and made him the type of person you always wanted to be around. When you stopped by his office you could always get a sweet, a touch of purple and a warm smile.
Mikeeee could always bring a smile to our faces and he would want us to always remember him this way. So when I say Mikeeee was my friend, I’ll always say it with a smile.
Re-interpretation of one of Mikeee’s favorite films…
“Someday I’ll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far behind me…
Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney top, where you’ll see…MIKEEE…”
RIP my purple friend. You’ll be missed
Donny, Marie and I will miss you so very much Mikeee.
You added your unique and special sparkle to this world.
Thank you for sharing your warm, beautiful, sweet and purple light with us.
You will shine in our memories and live in our hearts.
You will be sorely missed……
Can’t say enough about what a wonderful person Mikeeee was. I’m thankful to have known him.
