EXCLUSIVE: Showtime has picked up a third season of Lisa Kudrow’s online-turned-television comedy series Web Therapy. Kudrow stars as Fiona Wallice, the self-professed and self-serving psychotherapist who treats patients for three minutes via webcam. Like Season 2, Season 3 will likely be comprised of at least 10 half-hour episodes.
Web Therapy attracts a myriad of A-listers as guest stars. Confirmed so far for Season 3 are Kudrow’s Friends cohort Matt LeBlanc, star of Showtime’s comedy Episodes; Meg Ryan; and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Those who appeared in the second season include Meryl Streep, Rosie O’Donnell, Conan O’Brien, Molly Shannon, Minnie Driver and another former Friends co-star David Schwimmer. They join the series’ recurring players Lily Tomlin, who plays Fiona’s judgmental mother; Dan Bucatinsky as Fiona’s assistant-turned-ghostwriter; and Victor Garber as her husband Kip. The 11-episode Season 2, which aired over the summer, was up 21% in the ratings from Season 1. Web Therapy, which earned an Emmy nomination this year for its online version, was created by Kudrow, Don Roos and Bucatinsky for Is or Isn’t Entertainment. Roos also serves as director.

Congrats!!!!! Such a great show!!
Happy to know that this project with Lisa Kudrow was renewed. I wish it was in a different format though, cos it gets kind of tiring after a while. Wish this was “The Comeback,” that show was perfect.
The Comeback is my favorite show of all time. Simply perfect.
The guests are often funnier then I’ve ever seen them but Fiona’s always grating voice spoils the show.
Yay! Love this show.
Love, love, love this show!
Wow I’m so happy…
I was trying very hard to find out the ratings while season 2 was on air to see if it was doing better then season 1 but i couldn’t find them anywhere.
Great that Matt is going to guest, Lisa should guest on Episodes
Why? Nobody’s watching and it’s self indulgent.
