The reality production company behind CBS’s Undercover Boss has named Aaron Saidman SVP of Development & Current Programming. Saidman will oversee all development and current series, including the second season of AMC’s The Pitch, A&E’s Be The Boss, which premieres this December, and Lifetime’s Supermarket Superstar, the Stacy Keibler hosted competition show which begins shooting next year. Saidmen joined the company as a VP in 2010. Wally Parks was upped to SVP Production and and Susan Janis-Mashayekhi has formally joined the company as VP Production after several seasons overseeing Undercover Boss. They will both report to EVP Amy Hussey. Additionally, Kevin Bartel and Jacob Cohen-Holmes have both been promoted to VP Development & Current Programming. All will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office. Studio Lambert, based in London and LA, is backed by All3Media, which distributes the company’s shows internationally.

I would say best of luck, but when you’re as sharp as Aaron (and those that had the good sense to up him), you don’t need it!

Congrats to Aaron and Kevin, both great guys. Kevin and I went hunting once, and well anyways, Kevin decides he wants to hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He had them all begging for their lives. Except for Fleagul. As for Aaron, I once saw him scissor kick Angela Lansbury.

The toothless wunderkind continues his rise! Bartel now that you got the title you need to follow up with a tooth. In all seriousness he is a great guy to collaborate. One of the few development executives that gets the whole process from creation of idea through series. Will be running his own company in no time.

Studio lambert is one of my favorite places to pitch. They are smart, understand production an treat their people with respect. It’s no shock that Kevin and Jacob are part of their core team. Honest guys that you want to get beers with or get in the production weeds with.
