    • He didn’t seem to be stating his preference for a candidate. He was making a point which you seemed to ignore because you were focused on party politics. Notice he also mentioned the Bush/Gore results, where Gore won the popular vote but Bush won the election.

• Call me cynical, but I can’t believe the polls. Making the election too close to call serves everyone’s dollar interests – candidates and media keep commissioning polls, campaigns keep spending big dollars on advertising, and it keeps the public interested in the story. With his stone-age views on the rights of women, the poor, and the gay community, Romney must start with at least a 50% disadvantage.
