The BBC’s Doctor Who is a not-at-all-guilty pleasure for a lot of people, and they always do a fine Christmas special. A couple of years back featured a truly brilliant take on A Christmas Carol. This year Jenna-Louise Coleman joins as (a temporarily moody and Scrooge-like Doctor) Matt Smith’s new companion for “The Snowmen” which will air Stateside on BBC America.

I never watch Doctor Who previews. And Walking Dead and True Blood previews too. I don’t want to spoil anything for me. I want to be surprised when I will see it. And not knowing where it will lead.

The show has been a phenomenom since it returned in 2005. I’m going to miss Amy and Rory, but I have to say I’m looking forward to this new companion and the fact that this next season is going to be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Dr. Who.on TV Few shows made 50 years ago, are still making new episodes and gaining new fans. Truly amazing…
