unbelievably cool!
HELL YEAH!
Trailers generally are. Tbs, this production was a train wreck, so I hope the trailer doesn’t include the best scenes of the movie.
How is this trailer appropriate for general audiences? A police officer is run over by a garbage truck, and then police are shooting relentlessly into a crowd? Should be red-band.
obviously you dont get it. they are showing us whats going to happen with these new movies. check out red dawn. that crap is real…jus wait..for it
Looks awesome!
John Carter of Zombies
Battleship Z
47 Zombies
GI Joe 2: Rise of the Undead
Holy crap. I will see this.
Regulators! Mount Up!
reap the whirlwind sheriff brady… reap it.
does the same damn guy make every trailer now?? ever since prometheus, that’s all any trailer looks like…at least pretend to feign originality once in a while…even if its the little stuff
Ever since Inception…..
yup Inception
I think it looks sort of repetitive. Zombies piling on each other over and over? Hmmmm….
I only saw that once climbing up a wall. Hmmm.
Are we going to get all these book fanatics exaggerating to try and trash the movie? I loved the book but I can handle a different take on it for the big screen. If Brooks himself can understand that then why can’t you?
WOW!
Good trailer
Wait, you mean a movie with a difficult production can actually turn out just fine? Who knew.
I understand ‘World War Z’ is a recognizable title, but there is no reason for this film to have that title. This is like Battleship all over again. Way to totally alienate fans of the book.
There sure is — the studio paid a ton of cash to the author to use that title. So before you go getting all high and mighty as a fan of the book, remember, the creator sold it to them. Dude got paid. He doesn’t care what you think.
There’s a book? Never knew that. Trailer looks great, though.
Besides, if you’ve already read the book, don’t you want to see something different. Presumably, you already know what happened in the book. You want to going to a movie with no surprises? I’ve really never understood why people will read a book and then want to see the movie.
You are joking right? I guess they could have made Lord of the Rings into a teen comedy that focused on a sick party in the shire, where frodo spends the whole movie trying to get laid.
I read the book. I loved the book. But I don’t think I have a constitutional right to a perfectly faithful adaptation of it. The book’s oral history format is great, but I’m not sure it necessarily lends itself to a two-hour blockbuster. There’s nothing more annoying than fanboy entitlement.
wow, i’ve been waiting for this all day and i’m not impressed.
OK this is going to be for me. And I’m glad they didn’t show the close up of the Zombies. I want to have something to look foward too.
and to the people that will whine forever that it is not exactly like the book. SO WHAT? here’s a news flash. Everyone has not read the book. I have to make the point. And I like the book a lot. But damn I’m not that precious about it. I can enjoy something different. If you need the exact same thing in the book then keep reading the book.
This looks good. Can’t wait
You didn’t see any close-ups because the effects are probably not finished since this was a ridiculously rushed production.
“ridiculously rushed?” I’ve made about three films in the time this one has been going through its paces.
Obviously way different than the extremely entertaining book, but who cares? That trailer has me pumped. WORLD WAR Z would have made a great HBO-style miniseries, like “Dirty War” meets “The Pacific”. But it’s also a great premise for a movie.
YES. A miniseries would have been so good. The movie makes it far too rushed. Saw the trailer and it doesn’t look like the book, and from what I can tell, the plot isn’t at all from the book (not even one of the many interviews).
Though they paid for the title, I don’t think the movie should have World War Z as its title, but for a apocalyptic zombie movie, it doesn’t look bad at all. Especially considering how many times they scrapped the script. My expectations of it being like the book are gone, which makes me a bit sad, but I’ll still see it. It should be good.
THIS IS ONE OF THE RADDEST TRAILERS IVE SEEN IN 20 YEARS! FUCLKING INCREDIBLE! FUCK YA!
finally…zombies that can run!
I what point can we honestly declare that Brad Pitt has officially jumped the shark..
seriously..WTF with his career choices?
Zombies? you don’t see Clooney running around fighting Zombies.
BP better desperately hope that Fincher puts him in something cool quick.
Oh, please. Pitt has made some outstanding films in the past 6 or 7 years. Some that he willingly made almost nothing on. He gets to make a fun one like this once in a while. Anyway there is a lot to the story of this movie besides the horror angle.
As for Clooney he’s made his share of some real stinkers so what are you talking about?
Actually this looks too intense for me – I’m a real wuss. Unless I can bring a pillow to hide behind.
Why would Pitt care? He’s got more than enough time to send his and his children’s life in luxury. And he’s made more great movies than most actors.
Besides, did you ever think that this might actually be good, and that’s why he did it?
Clooney does not have 25 mouths to feed at home, Brad needs the blockbuster money every once and a while to take care of family business
But seriously it looks awesome!!!
Nope. Clooney ran around killing vampires.
Clooney wore a Batman outfit in a baaaad Batman film. LOL!
I shouldn’t rag on him I rather like him for the most part.
Nope! But we saw Clooney running around fighting killer tomatoes…
Brad Pitt is a great actor, his recent career choices and the great filmmakers he recently worked with proved it.
A little Zombie Blockbuster for him, a good way to take a quick break between films with Andrew Dominik, Terence Malick, Ridley Scott etc etc…
Don’t be jealous mate.
LEGO Zombies the movie?! I love the book and I hope this is good but this kinda’ reeks of “lets make a big budget zombie movie with out being a zombie movie” ala I’m Legend’s “let’s make a big budget vampire with out being a vampire movie”. Sigh…
really?? that’s it?!?. seriously retread… ugh.
It’s a film for meatheads and gunfreaks.
Far out.
The Running Dead…..
All the people who said this movie was going to turn out poorly can go fuck themselves.
This looks AWESOME.
Surely this is the 28 Months Later trailer?
Which Zombie did Sam Worthington play?
lmao – nice
As George Romero says, they are dead, they have Rigor Mortis. If a Zombie is dead and wants to eat you, but can run faster than you, what’s the point? There is no hope. Who wants to have no hope?
