The agreements with Turner Broadcasting System and Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution will add the TNT dramas to the Prime Instant Video catalog. Those who pay $79 a year for Amazon Prime — which also provides free shipping for merchandise bought from the e-retailer — will be able to see all seven seasons of The Closer as well as current and future seasons of Falling Skies. The Prime Instant Video service works on Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD (of course) as well as devices from Apple, Roku, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Sony’s PlayStation 3, and Nintendo’s Wii U. “Subscription-on-demand services continue to grow in the consumer marketplace, and this deal represents a way to help expand our viewership from TV Everywhere and introduce a wider audience to this hit series,” says Turner Broadcasting SVP Program Acquisitions Deborah Bradley.

If you are a college student, you can get Amazon Prime for $40 a year with all of the same movies and shows that are free under the $79 price point. They verify your status by sending an email to your .edu address. I promise I do not work for Amazon.
Wake me up when they get access to the Dallas… That’s the only TNT show I will ever care about…
I guess now I have a reason to catch up on Falling Skies.
As a prime subscriber I’d love it if Amazon would make an exclusive deal with a worthy series and not this.
If they streamed The Closer spinoff Major Crimes I would invest the $79. But without Major Crimes, I’m not interested!!
Well those sneaky bastards managed to get this Netflix subscriber/Falling Skies fan to take a peek and realize, hey, it’s only $80 a YEAR? Daaaayaaammm…
Screw that House of Cards guff, sci fi is what I like.
