On his show last night, Jimmy Fallon re-created a comedy classic with a new take on Abbott and Costello’s Who’s On First? routine where we finally get to meet the team’s first baseman Who, second baseman What, and third baseman I Don’t Know. (you can watch the original skit below the new one.) Joining Fallon onstage are Billy Crystal and Jerry Seinfeld (as well as Fallon announcer Steve Higgins as Costello and Fallon head writer A.D. Miles as What.)

Classic bit all the way.. He’s brave to take it on…
Really shows the writing and comedic skill of Fallon and his team to create a funny and different take on one of the most known and classic sketches ever. Most impressive.
I don’t get the praise for Fallon’s “braveness” in this. Higgins, Crystal, Miles, and Seinfeld were the only ones of note in this bit, as was writer Mike Dicenzo. Fallon just blended into the background–he’s a non-factor here.
Hey Jay…no need to bash Jimmy…I’m sure NBC won’t have the guts to fire you for a while.
Fallon can barely tell a joke and he plays music too much; often with no comedic intent, just self-indulgence. Yeah, Fallon is lame.
Awww, very funny. And oddly sweet.
I love JF.
To huh, fallon was the straightman in the sketch and he did a great job!
