• I thought this was a tremendous trailer and the style and theme of the film looks amazing. There isn’t a more inspirational superhero than Superman, so kudos to them for modernizing Supes while trying to stay true to who he is and what he stands for.

• The trailer was great. I can’t wait to see the movie next year. I hope that there will be a sequel to the Man Of Steel real soon.

• Not drinking the kool-aid. So sad and emo. What’s with the sad Dead Can Dance-style moaning? Where’s the rousing orchestral score meant to inspire? No yellow “S” on the back of Superman’s cape. No spit-curl as per Jim Lee’s “New 52″ redesign. Pa Kent says Clark should have let the kids drown? This is your Smallville wisdom? Again with General Zod? Love Clark’s hipster/emo/soul-searching beard. Only cool thing? Manga-style gravity inversion/build-up before Superman takes off. This is a mess. And I *like* Zack Snyder! Hate being a typical Deadline troll who takes apart a two-minute-long trailer, but here I am.

• There was no need to reboot Superman they should have made a sequel to Superman Returns with Brandon Routh. That came out in 2006 they could have had a sequel in theaters in 2010 and another one for next summer. They have lost money by wasting all this time. Typical studio mentality.

• So many haters. I’m so tired of all the bullshit comments, “ooh, it’s too emo, ooh it’s too Terence Mallick, ooh, it’s not loyal to the comic book, TDKR was too dark, blah blah blah.” What a bunch of assholes. Can’t you people just enjoy the movies? The trailer is sick. Nolan won’t fail us.
