Oxygen Media has greenlighted for production All My Babies’ Mamas (working title), a one-hour unscripted special from former top MTV executives-turned-producers Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley. Slated to premiere next spring, the special chronicles the complicated lives of one man, his children’s mamas, and their army of children, capturing the highs and lows of this extreme ‘blended family’ as they navigate their financially and emotionally connected lives. All My Babies’ Mamas, which in success will likely serve as a backdoor pilot, will be produced by DiSanto and Gateley’s company DiGa Vision.

Agreed. This programs sounds heartbreaking on many levels. How are programs like this not just demonstrative of cynicism run amok?
There is a difference between a documentary that observes and tries to inform and this, which seems like poverty porn that exploits ignorance, dysfunction, and the shredded safety net.

In order for shows to make it on air they have to be about the loudest, craziest most insane concepts that appeal to the greatest common denominator and that means making fun of those who aren’t smart enough to know it i.e Honeybooboo, Bad Girls Club, Flava of Love etc. These shows are highly rated and will continue to get made. Vote with your remote.
What’s so wrong it’s reality to a lot of people. Humans like to turn their nose up at a lot of things that are wrong but true. 10 babes mommas is extreme. But we all know the type. And you never know the show could help some people see the reality of this type of situation.

You sound like a publicist for the show or production company. Exploiting this dysfunction i/x/f for ad dollars will do no more to correct the problem than suggesting that the murder of children in a Newton, CT school will stop people from shooting one another. Cut it out.Stat!
