EXCLUSIVE: Giancarlo Esposito has come to the table for Poker Night. The Emmy nominee will play Detective A.J. Bernard in the indie thriller. Ron Perlman, Titus Welliver, Ron Eldard and Beau Mirchoff co-star in the Greg Francis-directed film, which is in production in Victoria, Canada. The film tells the tale of a young cop who is being tracked by a serial killer. Only the stories and tall tales he hears at the card game he regularly plays with veterans like Bernard contain the clues to his survival. Corey Large and Alan Pao are producing.

Known for his Emmy-nominated role role as soft-spoken meth drug lord Gus Fring on AMC’s Breaking Bad, Esposito is currently starring on NBC’s Revolution. He plays militia Major Tom Neville on the J.J. Abrams-produced drama. Esposito is repped by Domain Talent and Thruline Entertainment.
