BREAKING: Shawn Levy‘s 21 Laps will continue to be a cornerstone presence at 20th Century Fox. Levy’s label has closed a new 3-year overall first look deal with the studio. Levy and president Dan Levine have promoted Billy Rosenberg to Senior Vice President, Dan Cohen to Vice President, Will Rack to Director of Development, and Katie Baron to Creative Executive.

Levy has been busy. He directed the Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson comedy The Internship, which Fox releases June 7, 2013; 21 Laps produced The Spectacular Now, directed by James Ponsoldt and starring Miles Teller, Shailene Woodley, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kyle Chandler and Brie Larson. That film premieres in competition at Sundance in January. Written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber (500 Days Of Summer) and produced by 21 Laps alongside Tom McNulty and Andrew Lauren.

The label has numerous projects percolating at Fox. There is Night At The Museum 3, the third and final installment of the 21 Laps franchise that has grossed north of $1 billion worldwide; John Hamburg is set to direct and write and produce Brother From Another Mother with 21 Laps; Nick Stoller has scripted Project Aloha for Levy to direct with Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill with all three producing; Levy is directing the Fantastic Voyage remake and producing with James Cameron and his Lightstorm Entertainment; 21 Laps is producing the Sesame Street film with Mark Gordon, Guyman Cassidy and Michael Aguilar; Levy is producing with Tina Fey Fancy Nancy, a reunion after they together did Date Night; 21 Laps is producing the Seth Meyers-scripted Alone For The Holidays, which Anne Fletcher will direct and Single Cell’s Sandy Stern is also producing; 21 Laps is also producing the Jonathan Tropper-scripted Kodachrome, with Gotham also producing.

Outside of its Fox deal, 21 Laps is developing: The Story Of Your Life, the Eric Heisserer-scripted pic that has Nic Mathieu attached direct, with FilmNation Entertainment and Lava Bear films to finance and co-produce, with shooting to start in mid-2013; and Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day, which has Lisa Cholodenko directing and Steve Carell starring at Disney. 21 Laps is producing with Lisa Henson.
