This really is scary. Worth watching just for the Charlie Sheen-Lindsay Lohan moment. Director Malcom Lee’s Scary Movie 5 also feaures Ashley Tisdale, Erica Ash, Simon Rex, Molly Shannon, Terry Crews, Heather Locklear, Jasmine Guy, Kate Walsh, Mike Tyson, Audrina Patridge, Kendra Wilkinson and Katt Williams — to name just a few. And it comes out April 12th so there’s still time for it to skewer anything else that comes out between now and then:

Painfully unfunny. I miss Anna Faris and her girlfriend that always died and then was alive in next Scary Movie.
Agreed 100%!
not a single laugh. But I am over 18.
Hilarious. Can’t wait to see it. Wonder if Lindsay and Charlie die? Hmmm, kinda miss Ana and Regina though.
Hillarious…..Really? Are you crazy? I can’t believe there are people out there like you who actually wait for movies like this to come out……Blows my f-ing mind!!
I can’t believe there are people like you, “Are you high?”, who think you’re the only ones allowed to dictate what’s funny, and what’s not. It blows my f-ing mind that there are some people so full of themselves that they believe everyone else in the world has to share their narrowed-minded view of movies, comedy, and life in general. Instead of complaining so much, and flaming other peoples’ posts, why don’t you just shut your trap, keep your opinions to yourself, and stay the f away from me.
Not funny. Skewering serious dependency problems of Charlie sheen and Lilo is twisted. The filmmakers are making money off the chemical dependencies of others. I am embarrassed to be part of Hollywood today.
So leave. No one’s stopping you and you’re obviously not doing much if you have time to spend on here. Like me.
You DO understand that Sheen and Lohan were in the movie of their own volition, right? And I’m uncertain what you saw in that trailer that had ANYthing to do w/their “chemical dependency” issues.
That said, Sheen was the only funny thing in the trailer. But if you’re not going to bring back Zucker, Mazin and Abrams — who, together, saved the Scary Movie franchise — why even make one?
Zucker, Mazin and Abrams ‘saved’ the franchise??!!!
Mazin is, bar none, the worst writer in Hollywood.
They replaced Anna Faris with Ashley Tisdale? Tisdale is a former Disney non-star from a failed/cancelled CW show and not a movie star. They then put the tabloid trash that is Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen to make this movie not even a renter.
No thanks.
Anna Faris is missed. It’s sad this is the only job Ashley Tisdale and most of these actors can get. The Marlon Waynes spoof A Haunted House looks way funnier than this mess.
Did they use CGI to make Lindsay’s face uglier in that picture or something? Yikes. She looks so…fake and weird. Gross..
But yeah, even though it also looks quite stupid –
The Marlon Wayans one looks funnier than this crap and it comes out next month, 3-4 months earlier.
No, that’s Lohan’s current face. There’s no CGI required to make it look scarier.
Tisdale has a regular lead role on Phineas and Ferb, so she’s not hurting.
The Wayans sold the scarey movie franchise after the second one so they had nothing to do with this or the one before
Hey, Lindsay, you want to be taken seriously as an actress? Stop with all the fillers! For God’s sake, your face and lips look like they’re going to explode! You’re twenty six, you don’t need it.
Anna Faris was the soul of those stupid Scary Movies. And was saving them even when they were bad. She was giving that complete serious look while doing idiotic things. On the other hand – this looks so bad that even Anna would not save it. It’s the are doing parody on Paranormal Activity only. Where are blockbusters? Where is Twilight, Hunger Games, Dark Knight, Avengers, James Bond, Snow White…
Charlie Sheen is the only funny thing on this trailer, we see who is/was a movie star and who are the c-list actors..even via a trailer.. although Simon Rex is still handsome.
I noticed that too. Charlie Sheen was doing those parody before. He knows what face he should give while doing ridiculous things. He was professional in that trailer. As funny as it sounds.
All others are C-lists who don’t know what parody is and how they should play it. Lohan is the worst. She should never play and make fun of herself on SNL or parody. She can not make fun of herself. She looks too serious. She can’t even play comedy now.
This movie is clearly not for the raised pinkie crowd. I’m so there.
One of the worst trailers I’ve seen for a while. All the beats are completely off, and it’s painfully obvious that the fim is about as much fun as a trip to the dentist. I like Ashley Tisdale – she’s a nimble, talented, self-deprecating, smart performer – but her reps should never have signed her up for this car-crash. It will do her no favors. And since Nicolas Cage is apparently so desperate that he is in talks to appear in the ‘Left Behind’ remake, will this mean that we can expect a Cage cameo in ‘Scary Movie 6′?
You can’t even call this shit a comedy… A Haunted House at least looks funny.
This will be the highest-grossing movie with Lindsay Lohan in it in YEARS! LOL
awful, just awful…so unfunny and weak
Why wasn’t Pee Wee Herman cast in this? Or did he turn it down?
R I P Leslie Nielsen, if he were alive, he’s be thrown in there too because David Zucker lives in the past.
This is so UN funny..not one surpising joke or bit, just off beat and dated. I crack up routinely reading comments on blogs about her newmaking headlines, they should hire those writers.
Katt Williams? I can’t abide sharing a country with that unfunny little twit, much less give him any of my money.
This was horrible, but at the same time kind of funny in some places. But I don’t get why they still keep making the same jokes with the same awful humor when there’s so much good that could come from this. If they really tried (and they never do) it could be a very funny movie. There’s also the problem of people not understanding how the F to act in a parody movie, specially people like Simon Rex.
that leo look-alike is pretty good
What’s really scarey about this is that someone actually had to think that an idea good for two pictures tops could be turned into enough drivel for five pictures. Make it stop, please!
That’s a funny joke about the wrong tubes in the mouth.
I have to admit I only watched the first one and it was funny. I didn’t watch the others, but if I ever see them coming on T.V. I might. This will be the first one I go to the movies to see, because a friend of mine’s son is in it. He is playing a young Macaulay Culkin. So excited when people you know end up on T.V. and in the movies. Can’t wait!!!
What a “hoot” being background in this movie! I had never seen Spooky Movies, and when I went on the set, it was an eye-opener and everything else. Very entertaining, great cast, director worked extremely hard to make this fun. The crew was exceptional and all the background actors professional. Happy to say this production came from our own Atlanta, Georgia!
