Oh my. Can’t think of anything else to say. Big fan of the series, but oh my is the extent of what I can express at the moment.
Best show on TV
Huge fan of the old Community- Not interested in the Harmonless version. Sucks
Let’s give it a chance…it’s such a cast-driven show and I think it still has some surprises left.
You haven’t even seen Community without him. Grow up.
Based on what? the ninety seconds so far released?
Who knew it was still on?
I don’t know why they didn’t promote one of the writers to show-runner. I feel that fans would more at ease with an experienced Community staffer at the helm of the show.
Maybe writers generally don’t make good show-runners, since the latter requires leadership and management skills, and writers aren’t initially hired for these sorts of skills (i.e. outstanding writers getting hired despite being introverted, unable to command a room, or lead a meeting).
But either way, I wish Harmon had groomed a successor, whether inadvertently or in preparation for the possibility/likelihood of Harmon’s own departure.
Good or bad, Season 4 simply will not be Harmon’s vision and version of the show. Personally, I’d rather watch a mediocre Harmon-led Season 4 than an outstanding Season 4 under the new show-runners, out of artistic integrity and continuity.
Sony tried to make Chris McKenna showrunner but he refused out of loyalty to Harmon.
What an awful clip. The intro was longer.
SPOILER ALERT! Gwyneth Paltrow’s head is what’s in the box.
HER HEAD IS THE BOX
Joel – you may have included the year, but you still work for NBC, so nothing is guaranteed.
I will be so glad when they finally pull the plug on this show. Most annoying fan base since “Arrested Development.”
