Penny Dreadful looks good! You can’t go wrong with Dorian Gray & Dracula in Victorian London. I hope to see lots of velvet, beautiful men and white, heaving bosoms. Sting should guest star.
Wonderful name and title – ‘Penny Dreadful.’ ‘The Vatican’ sounds interesting too, I hope it’s well written. I have really enjoyed ‘Shameless’ and ‘Nurse Jackie.’
The Vatican sounds like a combo of The Good Wife/NCIS/HBO’s Network but if it has a bit of Dan Brown in it or something from the past the Vatican is trying to hide from getting out that would change the world it might be good. Otherwise – its political intrigue in Italy and then who cares?
All other Showtime shows listed? B-O-R-I-N-G
And i’m glad Dexter is finishing. Its done. Doesn’t Showtime have anything else? Or are they betting the farm on the 3 above? Good luck w/that. I’ll drop Showtime if this is all they have. The one semi-historical of Frankenstein/Dracula and Dorian Grey sounds and awful mashup.
