Bruce Willis hits Moscow for the fifth installment of the Die Hard franchise, this one starring Jai Courtney as John McClane’s son, who’s become a federal agent chasing Russian bad guys. There’s clearly still an appetite for American “cowboys”: Fox‘s previous pic, 2007′s Live Free Or Die Hard, grossed $33.4 million on its opening weekend back on its way to a worldwide cume of $383.5 million. A Good Day To Die Hard is set for a February 14 release.

Two words: Awe. Some.
And don’t miss ‘Die Hard 6: Citizens on Patrol’ coming soon to an airline near you.
Nothing Hollywood does better than beating a dead horse.
Looks like a blast. The only thing I don’t get is, after the success of the previous film, why the Feb release?
i’ve been wondering the same thing
This looks just as terrible as Die Hard 4. Len Wise–haha–man killed the Die Hard series: bad story, uneven action, an obnoxious pseudo-sidekick, and if that wasn’t enough … Silent Bob (!). Now John McClane goes to Russia? Lame.
did you see the unrated directors cut of live free or die hard, was much better than the theatrical cut, much more like the other three movies, really hope this one is rated R. die hard needs to be rated R
Awful trailer! Really bad!
Doesn’t establish the bad guy or what he wants.
No real link between who the son is and why the son is involved…
Just lazy and insipid marketing. Not thought at all by the studio.
However, most kids today who actually “buy” movie tickets don’t know John McClane or Die Hard. So a big opening weekend will be followed with disappointing declines…
This post is being written by a man that considers Die Hard 1 one of the most entertaining movies ever made!
great trailer!
At least the title is better than the last one.
