Breaking dawn DVD part 2
I sent my friend out to buy Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2 to entertain myself after surgery only to find, after paying full price for DVD’s I could not watch them. Seems they have stupid little slips of paper inside with their little codes on them that have to be registered. After finally gaining access to a computer in bed, I had to figure out how to use the little papers to put in my codes only to find that my Blu Ray Disc player was not on their list. I can watch the movies on my computer, but then why did I buy an HDTV and a Blu Ray Disc player?
I understand that pirating costs the movie distributors a great deal of money but shouldn’t they have to, by law, put on the cover of dics that you are buying, what you will have to do to make them work and what kind of equipment will be needed to be able to enjoy your purchase? Instead of having a day of being entertained by characters that captured my imagination, and I felt would be a great diversion from feeling my discomfort; instead the discomfort quickly became a source of amplifying what I was trying to escape. I BOUGHT the DVD’s so that I didn’t need to worry about getting them returned on time. Usually PURCHASING your DVD movie means no effort, just put it in your disc player and enjoy your movie on your HDTV. Now I have no idea when that will happen. When I get well and can go buy some kind of part for my player. Summit Entertainment, and in particular the moron who came up with this idea I wish I could beat you with my crutches. I lay here with nothing but cable movies and a box bought and paid for that I can not watch. How cruel can a person be? Instead of a beautiful picture and great sound I get to hoist a desk top screen onto the table for my meals and hear only what makes through the bottom. Thanks a lot, you saved $22.00, I hope this happens to you . . . that you are injured, your significant other is on a business trip trying desperately hold on to his job and you have 3 weeks in a bed and buy some DVD’s to distract you from pain and their new anti-theft system keeps you from seeing what you just spent money you use on, you owe me money, got that part that would make it work. Funny, I put Part 2 in and it played, but the anesthesia made me fall asleep, but it did work until I “registered it.” I’ve never stolen movie stuff in my life. Guess I should learn to be be creative. You stuck!
