EXCLUSIVE: Two of Lifetime‘s new Army Wives are getting husbands. Burgess Jenkins and Joshua Henry are set to recur on the upcoming seventh season of Army Wives. Both have options to become regulars if the veteran drama goes to Season 8. As part of the series’ mini-revamp, Army Wives added three actresses as new regulars — Ashanti, Torrey DeVitto and Elle McLemore — as original cast member member Kim Delaney is departing and Sally Pressman is scaling back from series regular to recurring. Jenkins will play Maggie’s (DeVitto) husband, Staff Sgt. Eddie Hall. Henry will play the role of Quincy, Latasha’s (Ashanti) husband. Burges, repped by KLWGN, has been recurring on ABC’s Nashville. Henry is a Tony nominee for The Scottsboro Boys.

No more CJ?? Roxy as a recurring?? UGH! Not looking forward to ArmyWives anymore.
NO KIM DELANEY CANT LEAVE..I LOVE WATCHING HER WHEN SHE WAS IN SOAP OPERAS… THINGS JUST WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HER OR ROXY…
I totally agree with her
welcome for new actors about a wonder show name army-wives they ar ebeautifull friends. happy success for burgess and joshua. nice to meet them xoxo
This will definitely not be the same. I think this is where I quit. With Pamela, Chase, Roxy, Trevor and Claudia Joy gone, there’s just nothing left.
Nobody said anything bout Trevor not being there. Sally Pressman (aka Roxy LeBlanc) is scaling back due to her real life pregnancy and such.
I agree!
I agree
It will be hard to not see our old friends in the upcoming season. This rings true for real army families. You get reposted and have to make new friends and family. My son is in the Army National Guard. He has transferred several times. It’s always sad, but you stay in touch as well as possible, and then makes new battle buddies and moves on. It comes with the territory. And thus, let’s get on with this transfer and see what happens.
While I’ll miss the characters we’ve grown to love (just like I’ve missed Pamela), I like that the show is behaving a little more like regular military life – people come and go. While it would be great to stick with these girls forever, the reality is that long postings, such as those our characters have enjoyed, are pretty irregular. I’m so looking forward to having this show back!
Anyone who has been a part of the military life knows that just as you get used to your friends and community, you have to move again. It is disappointing that CJ and Roxy are leaving..but that’s how it really happens unfortunately
Hhhm, to many of the original cast members are leaving, which i know is what happens on an Army base….i just worry about chemistry. Nothing like the originals and Gloria.
Someone tell me when the new series starts please. Probably wont be the same but gonna give it a shot
It almost always in March
Wow! Big news! I think that I am going to take a wait and see attitude on this one. I cannot imagine this show without Claudia Joy and Roxy!
Can not believe you are this ..I know the army always move people around and it surely will not be the same . I don’t know if I will continue to see the show
Looking forward to the new season. Hopefully everyone’s personality jells as well as the original cast. I hate to see any of the originals go but it’s true in the military few things stay the same for long.
Would like to know when new season begins
I’m almost afraid of the new Army Wives coming back, I LOVED the Previous Charactors and terribly missed Pamela & her family, and Claudia Joy as she’s been gone awhile too. Now I hear some will die in the plane crash! And Roxy has Always been a great charactor! I really don’t like that much of a change on my shows. I’ll try, but I don’t know how long I’ll be so devoted to this show. xox
Loved watching armywives on Sunday nite, but since some of the main characters are not coming back I probably want be watching it anymore. If it’s not broken don’t fix it!
LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF ARMY WIVES DON’T KNOW IF I WILL LIKE THE NEW CHANGE OF NEW CHARACTERS MISSING THE SHOW NOW HOPE NEW SHOW IS JUST AS GOOD HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE TO DECIDE WEATHER I WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH GONG TO MISS THE OLD CHARACTERS HOPE IT GOES WELL.
I will really miss roxy, her character seems like someone everyone could be friends with.
Lynn is more correct than the public realizes. I have been an actual Army wife for almost 25 years. At our house the motto is the only thing constant with the Army is the constant change!
I for one am looking forward to the new season.
If CJ is leaving (what a bummer) what about Michael, their daughter? Do I understand that Roxy will be scaling back but she will still be a presence? I have been a fan since day 1, so I will try to continue to watch it.
I for one am looking forward to season #7 – the reg.characters coming back such as the Sherwoods,Burtons, and Holdens (-CJ) are reason enough to watch + lets give the new additions to cast a chance. I started watching series because Catherine Bell was on and learned to like the others, and I will give the new guys a chance – its silly to condemn when you haven’t seen it.
ok what is going on why are all the Best actors leaving? None of this makes sense unless its for kids or money then I get it. I have loved this show ever since they started filming it in my communities backyard. Kiawah Homes always welcomes Army Wives and we will surely miss all the actors who leave and be sad that they are leaving they will surely be missed by everyone. And in turn we welcome all the new actors to our community also.
No Eoxy or Claudia Joy np way.I don’t think it will be as good
I’m going to miss the old characters, but I was having a hard time watching Claudia Joy on the show and then knowing in real life she was having a relapse with alcohol and totally not her character. Kinda ruined the one she portrays on TV. That is the reason I heard she was leaving was bc she relapsed. Who knows though! I will totally miss Roxy as well.
No Claudia Joy? You can suck it Lifetime.
CJ is a alcoholic and still doesn’t have it under control……Roxy in IRL pregnant from what I heard. At least we get to see her sometimes. I like new characters keeps it fresh.
